I liked the location of the hotel and very friendly staff. The hotel was located in the square with lovely park which was visible from the breakfast hall. Also, the room and the bathroom were clean. The breakfast was nice, although we expect a bit more diverse food (only different types of bread changed over our stay. The rest was every morning the same).
Firstly, the hotel is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the historical building with the old lift. Luckily, the lift was operating all the time of our stay. However, we had to be very careful with closing all the doors to keep the lift operating.Secondly, we were given a room with the windows to the light well. The worst thing of this setup was noise of running water/rain (especially in the morning) from air conditioning or other gadgets placed in the light well. One day, we forgot to close the window so the smell of the dishes from lower apartments came to our room and it was difficult to air the room as all windows led to the light well.Thirdly, the room had a bit old furniture as well as old and worn wallpapers. The bathroom was clean, but it would require some refresh (faucet was not attached properly, shower head could be replaced as it was full of scale).Fourth, the breakfast hall was too small for all the guests, so we had to book the table in advance. Despite that, on the first morning we could not get the table on the booked time. The lady responsible for the breakfast tried to keep it in order, but many guests ignored the rules. As I already mentioned, the breakfast was not so diverse (as I assumed from the description), I would expect a little bit change from day to day (at least there could be some changes in vegetables if salami and cheese are too expensive.) as well as better juices. We decided to not to change the room as we spent most of the day in the city and we got used to these little issues. My feedback to the hotel management is mainly to do regular checks of rooms' facilities (it seems the cleaning ladies do not bother to report the issues or the management is not willing to fix them). Also, I would advise to think of rearrangement of breakfast hall so the staff does not have to run from one side of the hall to the other.
After proving that they gave me a room which was not even in the pictures, they switched the rooms with a little bit better one. So kudos for that?
The previous room didn't have a window. Toilet was not clean. Thus, there was no hot water. And also wifi didn't work for a whole day.
Location was ok, but not the nicest neighborhood, I felt pretty safe during the day.Pleasant staff, mostly young ladies, helpful.Breakfast buffet was ok yet limited.Old and classy interior of the building.
Address/ location.. as I was told by the staff the hotel moved to this location about six months ago. WHY is it still listed under the old address ? VERY confusing for a new guests !!Room.. with old style furniture, old types of bedding / sheets, difficult window curtains.Bathroom.. had no hot water, only lukewarm. The corner shower was old, rusty frame at the base, also drained very slowly !!Super thin walls between rooms !!Rooms are separated by only thin wall, so u can hear guests next door talking, difficult at night !
The receptionist Monica was super friendly, they allowed us to leave our backpacks to go for a walk after check-out, the continental breakfast was excellent, everything was very clean
No comentes
This was about a 10 minute walk from Termini Station. It had a metro stop on the same block, so for transiting the City it worked great for us. The view was over the Park and picturesque. We thought the breakfast was excellent and completely worth getting it as part of the package, it was very complete, with lactose-free milk for coffee which for some reason was difficult to find in some areas. The room was spacious and comfortable.
We had to go down one floor to our room (stairs only). For us this was not an issue, but for someone who can't walk well, or cannot take stairs it would be a detriment. To avoid this, you'd need to confirm at booking. There are a few stairs also, just to get into the entry-way and into the elevator, so you should confirm your group can do this.
24 hr staff and nice breakfast with bacon and eggs
Bed was very hard.
The ubication is excellent, the staff was so kind with us.
There was someone else’s food in the mini fridge of our room.
Location, room was spacious, staff friendly, breakfast was good.
Upon arrival to our room there was a very strong sewer smell coming from the toilet. It was unbearable! And TV was not working.
Had a wonderful stay at this very nice hotel—spotless rooms and a great location close to everything. The staff were incredibly helpful and even accommodated a very custom request for me without any fuss. Thank you for the excellent service; I’d happily stay here again.
A very nice hotel, clean room almost at the rooftop, tasty breakfast and very friendly staff. They offer (free!) excursions to Colosseo and other places in Rome with their guide too.Room cleaned every day.Nice to go for a walk from here to Colosseo, Pantheon and Vatican, everything is rather close by, shop and metro station are literally just around the corner.
The hotel is fairly close to the train station, so it's not the cleanest part of Rome. And it was sometimes difficult to sleep due to the noise amount outside at night — every day there were some events, people shouting, cars, etc. Many smelly trash cans around. We walked a lot, so I could say the other parts of Rome just a few more metro stations away from Termini are cleaner.
It was very close to train station. Staff were very nice!
It doesn’t look like the pictures, super dated rooms, in my room it smelled like cigar, nothing like the pictures :/
Close to the coliseum.
When we reserved in booking the reservation advised breakfast included, we had to pay at location. A/C did not work with 37 degrees outside, we asked for help and nobody went to check the A/C or so. The fridge did not work either and the girl at front desk Daniella did not want to put our water in their fridge knowing ours was not working and without AC, it was a nightmare specially for the lack of education and service of the staff.
Staff is very helpful and interested. Many thanks for all again. Especially breakfast is amazing. Location is make easier your trip. It is near the Metro and Central Train Station.
Structure is old and not too comfortable. Elevator is like from old ages. There was no internet connection in rooms. You can connect just only in reception. Because the bill was not paid! This was very big problem for all consumers.
Excellent location in Rome with a professional and kind staff. We had a pleasant stay. The bedroom and bathroom always clean. The breakfast place is nice with quality food, yet small tables for groups of four. Recommended - affordable price.
The closet in the bedroom could be better—for example, it should have a full-length mirror, and there should be more electric outlets.
The staff was amaizing and the location is great. I saw some people are saying it is not safe, but I think those people have never before been to an Italian big city. Its a perfectly normal for a close to city center part of town and its pretty safe.
The sheets and the towels seem clean and new. However, the toilet was dirty, the shower curtain was old and yellow and the walls are stained. There is also alot of dust on surfaces that are not immediatelly visible (i.e., when you open any cabinet). The shower head is broken so it sprays water everywhere. I think this would be an amaizing hotel if they would improve hygine a litttle and invest a bit to repair whats broken or old and paint the walls.
Ac worked great!! Room size was excellent.
Sink drain was very slow unless I remove The drain cover. Shower drain was slow
