Hotel Anfiteatro Flavio

Location is perfect,just a few minutes away from Coloseum and in the walking distance from other great things to see in the city, there's a lot of great restaurants and a couple supermarkets as well. Hotel rooms are very clean, and breakfast is every day the same but ok

In the balcony of the room is a three outdoor unit of a AC and in the night it was very loud

The breakfast was more European based which was a bit of a shock (not bad at all, just a bit less variety than I thought there would be). The shower pressure could be a bit stronger as well

This hotel is located a few blocks away from the Colosseum, so it is inside the historical centre. The location is just perfect, as you can literally walk to all the important sites from here. We skipped the free breakfast this time, as we were already wandering around the city before it was served. The rooms are comfortable enough.

Saw several small bugs that look like tiny roaches crawling on the bed and pillows. I took photos and video, showed the person at reception, he said absolutely nothing. No response to my message about the bugs to the property.

Friendly receptionist lady, easy access to room which was very good, location of hotel - 5 mins walk from everywhere!

Hot water temperamental but was warm long enough for shower.

Lights were hanging down in bathroom. Toilet was cracked and leaking water on the floor.

The location of the accommodation was very good. All attractions were within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and kind.

There was a very bad smell in the bathroom. Renovation could have happened a long time ago. Breakfast is the same every day (2 pieces of toast, 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of cheese and a sweet pastry). There were a few more things on a small table: cucumber, tomato, nutella, etc. Not the best choice in terms of price-quality ratio.

It was close to the main attractions of Historic Rome.The hotel was clean and the staff was very pleasant.

The shower was small 24"x24"

Very abrupt to gentlemen in the front desk. At one stage I even said good morning to him in Italian and he just blatantly ignored me.Also, I believe there was mould in the bathroom

Location

Very small shower, was not able to move at all or bend down and had to rotate in the same spot. Room was slightly smaller than I anticipated; not a lot of space to move around. TV did not work.

Great location, felt very safe as solo female traveler! Hotel was clean. Didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment. Hotel staff were very friendly and had good recommendation for where to eat.

The mattress was very poor quality and I could feel the springs. Bathroom needed to be regrouted and the shower was very small, even for a petite woman. I would also request better lighting in the stairways between floors from a safety perspective.

No wifi, not very clean. The breakfast was practically inedible. After the first morning we chose to eat elsewhere, even though breakfast was included in our stay. Perhaps we simply didn’t know how or what to ask for, but the offer was very poor — just one small bun, bread with cheese and ham, and some juice with coffee. The tomatoes and cucumbers were spoiled, which made us doubt whether the rest of the food was fresh.Basically, we paid €600 (3nights) just for a bed and a place to wash. The only good thing was the location. The rooftop terrace was not available either.
