Pros +
- Very close to Vatican. Nice, cosy, cameral hotel.A historic, but working fine elevator.Early check-in. Super nice and helpfull stuff. Breakfast simple, but I don't need more. Bread, cheese, hot croissants, cereal, yogurt, fresh coffee, fruit etc.
- Loved the customer service. They helped with pretty much anything. We had issues with reservations and could only reserve one day. However we got help and were able to compromise to get another night by maybe changing rooms. The guy Dian was amazing in helping with this.
- If was very close to the Vatican City! The breakfast was good too.
Cons -
- Too little space for hanging towels in the bathroom. Lights a bit too dim, but it's unfortunately typical in hotel rooms everywhere.
- Some of the stuff was broke. The stand below the mirror was slanted soCouldn’t use it to hold anything. Some minor damages and the blankets were small so not super warm. Beds weren’t horrible but could be better.
- One of the receptionists was rude to me. He may have been tired.

Rooms In Need of Updating
Its my 5th time here. Location is perfect. Staff is incredible. Breakfast is good and plenty. Room is spacious and clean.
Location is unbeatable if you wish to base your Roman Holiday near the Vatican! The staff were friendly and accommodating with a family atmosphere (rather than a corporate hotel). The room was clean and bed was comfortable. I stayed two nights separated by a one week cruise of the western Mediterranean. Breakfast was typical for Italy with small selection of fresh breads, cheese, salami, ham and yogurt and your choice of coffee. Both days I was grateful for the early check-in and the front desk offers luggage storage after check-out. This is literally steps from St. Peter’s Square and other Vatican sites. If you’re flying into Fiumicino, take the train toward Fara Sabina and transfer at Trastevere for the S. Pietro stazione (1 stop).
There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property, but I must tell you that I was looking for the best value for my money. There’s nothing “luxurious” about this property. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and shower while visiting the magnificent sites of Rome, this is your place! If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, you’ll need to pay 3 times as much to stay somewhere else.
Very good breakfastGood location Staff are friendly and helpful
The rooms are outdatedRoom door has a bit of a gap that you can see somebody passing by The toiletries needs to improved
Everybody was very professional and friendly in the same time. Great location and great breakfast
The stuff was kindly, the location was perfect, the breakfast was poor, the room was basic.
Location fine for S Pietro, in an old building with decent furniture and amenities. Breakfast included pastries, cheese and meats, yogurt, some fruit, cereals, juice, coffee/tea. No eggs. Antique elevator. Nothing fancy but comfortable and clean.
The toilet flushed all the time and made a lot of noise, we asked to have it repaired because it proved disturbing at night but it wasn’t. At the reception they didn’t seem very knowledgeable about various landmarks but then Rome is a city dotted with historic things.

Good emplacement
Very expensive Very old style.... bed... shower....Poor breakfast regarding price
Great location, very close to the Vatican and places to eat. If you're ok with walking, you can reach all the attractions in Rome on foot. I did, but buses run nearby. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and bigger than I expected. I liked the originality of some of the fittings and fixtures such as the floor tilings. A good price, I couldn't ask for more.
There was nothing I didn't like

The staff is really great, there were this two male receptionist in the late afternoon and evening that always went above and beyond to help!Good price for quality in Rome.
The hotel is very loud, from my room I could hear the lift, people going up the stairs, your neighbours phone alarm.Cleaning team cleans way too early, at 7.30 AM you start hearing them in the rooms next to you and they dont attempt to be quiet.
Friendly staff, very close to the Vatican. It isn’t a modern place, but it’s clean, comfortable and the staff are lovely.
It could be updated a bit.
