    Pros +

    • The hotel was on a nice location, very close to Termini station, which connects you to the city. The room was more than necessary for a couple. The breakfast was very good and the thing that we liked the most was that they serve it to the room, which is a nice gesture by the hotel.
    • The hotel is located on a quiet street, very close to the main train station, with many interesting trattorias nearby. The atmosphere of this quiet back street in this huge old city is even cozy. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the service is very friendly. I like this casual, unpretentious and fair mood that doesn't try to offer more than it has.
    • Clean room, big and tasty breakfast and good localisation

    Cons -

    • Maybe the hotel should consider having one-time slippers. It would be great for next time.
    • Hotel Sol Lavante is on the second floor sharing Entrance and small elevator with more than 3 other Hotels in the same building, shower is very small, brekfast is simple and serves in the rooms only
    • There was a bad smell in the reception area. The room was OK and clean, but I discovered my "fresh" towels were actually dirty with "brown" stain- very disgusting. The shower was not working- water was coming out like light dripping and I had to use the shower head arm instead.

It was easy to reach and access it. The breakfast was quite good and fresh. The staff was kind and helpful. They provided new fresh towels and apologized.

Location was great, breakfast was nice. Water pressure in the shower was excellent.

Quite small given the cost (having stayed in many hotels in the same area during the same time of year)

Everything was excellent! Breakfast was brought to the room, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the size and the quality of the room is also perfect even for a family of three. Highly recommended!

    Nothing! Everything was excellent.

Location was perfect for the train station and there are nearby restaurants. WiFi was strong and the Italian breakfast was a delight.

The room was a bit small.

Breakfast was not bad, near the Termini station.

I didn’t like this hotel at all. It felt more like an inn than a proper hotel. The building was very old, and each floor had three different inns. The Levante was located on the second floor, next to two other inns.We arrived at 10:20 pm and were charged an extra €20 for late check-in, which was disappointing.Although the location is close to Termini metro station, the area felt unsafe at night. Our room was tiny and had only a small window. Overall, I was very unhappy with my accommodation and would not recommend this place. Our trip was during the New Year period, and we paid almost double the regular price. In addition, we were not given the room we had originally reserved; instead, we were placed in a much smaller room located at the back of the property.I really don’t understand why this property has an 8.5 rating.

The staff are very nice and the owner. I love the comfort room and toilet. It's very clean. They clean the room very well and I love that we have a balcony in our room.

The elevator in the building doesn't go up if the last person who uses it does not close the door properly up. We'll its beyond the control of the hotel because the elevator is part of the building.

Location was great, around 5 minutes walk from Termini Station. Breakfast was good even served in your room it positively surprised me and my family.Great coffee.

Room was really small hard to move in and out with luggage. The street sound is a bit loud, maybe better work in the insulation would reduce the sound more inside the room.

The staff were friendly but need to allow card payments for the tax and charge the correct amount. I specifically had to withdraw cash for this at a 5 euro charge!Breakfast was huge and tasty pastries served in your room. Location is very close to Termini station and you can walk to most of the tourist attractions. My kids loved the room and the size of the TV! Room was clean and just right for me and my 2 boys!

Having to get cash out to pay taxes.Shower had very weak pressure but that's normal for a lot of Europe!

The people were really nice and welcoming, the breakfast was quite good and it was nice that it was brought directly to the room!

Sometimes at night the people in the hotel were quite loud.

It is a great place to stay in Rome. Apart from the very friendly staff, it is also clean and only about a 5-minute walk from the main train station. Restaurants and a mini-market are just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The breakfast is absolutely perfect. And it is served by very hospitable staff.

We had visits booked for 8.30 a.m., so we had to leave the hotel before breakfast starting time (8 a.m.).so they kindly prepared us something on the day before.

The breakfast was only served from 8 a.m. which is not very usual. Our room was heading to a street that was a bit noisy during night, (but this is not the hotel's fault)

    Location was not bad

Property is on the second floor of an old and ugly building. Lift only fits 1 person w 1 luggage. Internet was awful, the sink was clogged, we found a spider on the bed, the shower pressure was really weak.. Don’t stay at this hotel. It shouldn’t even be classified as a hotel.

We had a wonderful stay! The Italian breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, and everything was clean and well taken care of. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay. We would happily come back!

Super friendly staff, excellent location, great breakfast and clean facilities

Pillows were too thin and the water pressure of the shower could’ve been stronger
