The view and convenience of accessibility to transportation and sights being within walking distance. However the positive does not makeup for my negative experience since I can have the same experience from any other hotel in the area.

Difficult check-in experience, I was forced to pay almost triple our prepaid reservation amount because our two small children were not named in the reservation. The air conditioning did not cool down the room and the hot room was uncomfortable/unbearabl.

Close to everything you need to do in Rome; we never had to take a bus, train, or taxi. The staff was good, and rooms were clean and new.

The breakfast is simple but tasted good.Thank you for storing our luggages for one night while we leaved 1 night to Florence. Highly appreciated.

The lift is so small, the shower box is so small, hard to move around while took shower.

No curtains so in the morning light will come through and wake me up. Also assuming light would leave my room and people would be able to see inside so a curtain would help with privacy

The property is clean and safe. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room itself is clean and comfortable. The balcony view in our deluxe room was breathtaking.

There were newer staff that couldn’t decide for themselves when asked for help. Thankfully the manager and the cleaning crew were always there to help.

The location was perfect

There was only one electrical outlet in the rooms. Two of us were charging our phones alternately, and we could not watch TV or use the kettle while doing this. I would never have guessed that we would encounter something like this

The breakfast facilities were good and there was a fair variety of food choices also staff were pleasant and helpful

There was nothing not to like about it very quaint and stylish hotel located in a beautiful location to all the places for tourists Bernini you can walk or take a bus or underground at Republica just up the road from the hotel

My recent stay at Hotel Giolli Nazionale in Rome turned into a nightmare within just 15 minutes of checking in. After a long flight and an hour and a half wait to get into my room, a guest on my reservation was greeted with a terrifying experience. While washing her face in the shower, the glass door suddenly and violently shattered all over me, leaving her injured, naked, and in shock.The hotel staff had to help her out of the bathroom, completely exposed and hurt, before they started to clean up the mess. They did not ask if she was okay and at first they did not even offer us a new room. The incident was not only physically damaging but also extremely traumatic.To add insult to injury, the hotel management has not only failed to acknowledge their responsibility for this horrifying situation but has also charged us €950,00 for the damages caused by their faulty equipment. Despite providing them with videos and photos of the incident, they had the audacity to claim that such an event could not have happened, blaming us for their own failure to maintain safe facilities.The hotel's management was nowhere to be found the next morning to address the situation, leaving their staff to deal with our justifiable anger and distress. This is not how a reputable establishment should treat its guests, especially after such a dangerous and traumatic incident.I strongly urge anyone considering a stay at Hotel Giolli Nazionale to think twice. This was not just an issue of poor service—it was a complete failure in guest safety and management responsibility. I will be pursuing this matter further, and I encourage others to avoid this hotel at all costs.
