- The location of the hotel is great, with a bus right at the door stop and walking distance to many sights. The view from the roof terrace is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. The room was clean.
Cons -
- The only complaint would be the room was a bit warm and the headboard squeaked every time you moved.
- Rooms are dated and dark.
- The room was fairly dark. In the winter, the roof terrace is only open for breakfast.

The location and the staff were very friendly
The property is clearly overpriced and while advertised as a 3 star, the facilities weren’t up to it.
Close to everything
Very dark uncomfortable room setting. Breakfast stale and not appetizing. Pineapple was ‘yesterday’s’. If it wasn’t for fresh juice it would be total disaster. I was staying with my sister and she decided to leave earlier so I asked if I could get back 5 euros, a charge per night per person, but was told no returns. Go figure.. prime property in the center of Rome would be so sore.
The location was great if you want to be close to all of the sites.2 of the staff that we dealt with were great.
The rooms are very very dark!! The lights are old and do not put out hardly any light. The paint is dark, the floor is dark and the ceiling is dark. If you want Gothic this is your place. It was noisy. I understand that with the great location there will be noise, but the windows are old and not insulated so you get the street noise all night. But most nights we were so tired by about 10:30 we did not hear it anymore. The room was cold. There were only small ottomans for bedside tables. The breakfast was cold. No one wants cold scrambled eggs.
location, roof top restaurant, cleanliness
not enough plugins for electronics, only one beside bed for 2 phones, hearing aid charger, ipad, and curling iron when needed
In a good, central location. The room was accommodating for three adults !
The bed was pretty uncomfortable but we only stayed two nights. Everything else was great !
The location was perfect. I wanted to stay close to Plaza Navonna and it was just the location I wanted.
There was no hot water in the morning. Not in the shower or sink. That was frustrating.
Location was excellent, rooftop bar was nice.
Television only works with your own accounts.. no local or international TV.Front desk was never friendly..Breakfast was not very good, and pricey.. we only wanted coffees, not really allowed.
Location
roof garden is a restaurant so not "free" to use for guests. reservation is required and prices are high
Restaurant on the top floor was great - we used it twice (breakfast and dinner). Location of the hotel is perfect: it is closeto all sites we planned to visit.
Nothing to report.
Breakfast quality was good. Location excellent. View from Rooftop cafe amazing!!!
The size of room.
The room had a nice old school feel- breakfast was wonderful on the roof top !!!
Elevator was too small!!! My wheelchair wouldn’t fit, I had to get out and fold it to fit. Then hang on to get to the room.
Location
No coffee except maybe at breakfast. Noisy outside the room. A/C was controlled so it was actually cooler with window open. Very limited gluten free options for breakfast
Great location near piazza navona and pantheon and a taxi stand. Cute clean room, great breakfast on very nice rooftop terrace. Room interestingly decorated but doesnt feel strange.
Shower not great if you are tall, room a bit small. A bit of a loud area if keeping windows open. Breakfast hours short so couldn't get on the second night.
The location was excellent. The overall hotel was good, the rooms were a little cramped and need updated wall cover. The air conditioning was nearly non-existent. The food at the restaurant on the roof was not very good, especially the breakfast which was also overpriced, but the roof top location was superb. The staff on the roof was very nice and accomodating, they let us play cards until very late at night.
The air conditioning and the decor of the rooms need updating badly.
Very beautiful view on the roof top to enjoy breakfast each morning. The server was very friendly and the food was good. Great location within walking distance to everything! We walked to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Vatican and the Spanish steps. Excellent area to have dinner as well.
I think because it’s an old building th AC system can not keep up with all the rooms. We initially walked into our room at 33 degrees Celsius and after being there 3 nights it only ever got down to 27 degrees Celsius… very hot. I think it would be a nice addition to add some splits to each room. The concierge was very nice to go get me a room fan we were able to use!!! Definitely needed that!
Location was the only thing good about this hotel.
Electricity went out--No refund on COLD breakfast and no coffee---No refund for breakfast on 5th morning due to early checkout and breakfast didn't start until much later. No takeaway breakfast prepared as promised. Uncomfortable beds and pillows.
Hotel refused to credit our bill for breakfast for 2 mornings
Hotel refused to credit our bill for breakfast for 2 mornings---Electricity went out one morning and breakfast was stone cold and no coffee was available. No one ate breakfast at hotel and went elsewhere----Also, we told hotel in advance we would be departing at 6:30am and asked for take away breakfast after being refused a refund for breakfast that we would not eat---The hotel not only did not refund, but take away breakfast was not prepared for group. Just disappointed
