Hotel King

Location. Great Front desk. Cleaning. Employees.

There were some stairs that were in the hallway of our floor which made me to lift the luggages. This was not easy for me and seniors. They didn’t change the tray during our stay and I had to wash our mugs myself every day, but room was clean.

Very thin walls and windows. A lot of noise

The bed was uncomfortable and there was no wardrobe.

The price, but I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. I regretted the decision to stay there the moment I walked in. It is not a 3 star hotel.

The smell, the disgustingly old and dirty carpet, the fact that there are two buildings and stairs in between that you have to carry luggage up, the horribly out of date elevator, the discolored wallpaper in the bedroom, poor lighting, not updated

Great location-- Too bad the Spanish steps were closed but the Fountain was open!! The breakfast and staff were nice and the hallways were wide and bright. Good elevator.

I did not like the Rome City Tax -- I think it should be part of the price-- $4 Euros a day per person -- Why not just raise the price of the room?? I do not like surprises when I travel. Great staff and helpful for taxi information.

Location was prime and there were a lot of good restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and very patient with me because I didn't speak any Italian - they all spoke English, though. The room was small but clean and I had a great view.

The heater was, quite honestly, not good. There was no "auto" option so that it would automatically cut on at a certain temperature, so I'd have to leave it run, then wake up in the middle of the night sweating.

The hotel is located right in the city center, and all the main attractions are within walking distance. Breakfast is available, but the selection is not very wide. There are cafés and restaurants all around. If peace and quiet in the evenings are important to you, this is not the right place, as there is a theater nearby and music can be clearly heard on weekend evenings. On weekday evenings, there seem to be maintenance works at the theater, and noise can be heard as well

There was.no fridge or facilities in the room which would be nice for keeping water cold or having drinking water.supplied.

The property was kinda run down .I had stayed there some years ago and it was much better .it appeared neglected and run down .

The location is perfect, the staff are very kind and helpful, and the beds are comfortable.

The room was very noisy. We could hear the street all night long because the window did not block the sound well.

Air conditioning was not very good. Very small room and panic inducing small elevator! They use real keys that need to be checked in and out each time.
