Hotel Romano

Our room was a nice size and the bathroom was very usable. Decor is very nice and the room was very clean. The folks running the hotel were incredibly nice and gave us a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary. They also held our luggage before check-in

Shower was very small.

Central location to restaurants, shopping, and transportation. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. The accommodation is restful and comfortable. The neighborhood gives one a great opportunity to experience the real Rome!

A bit noisy late at night and early in the morning out in the street but didn't stop us sleeping as we were so tired from.all.the walking and up early for sightseeing!

The staff and location are worth staying in this hotel alone. We were met by Santo and Mariella who couldn't be more helpful and genuine people. A credit to the hotel. Also Andrea was very nice and had our bags waiting for us after long day. The hotel was so quiet at night, even though it's in the heart of the collesuem district, (you literally walk around the corner and you are in full view of it, 3mins walk). The hotel allowed is to store bags there which was great as we had a late flight. They also had a special welcome in the room which was a wonderful touch. Clean towels and big bath awaits you. We stayed on the balcony with view, it's definitely worth it, believe me. There is a lovely restaurant (14e pizza!), right beside the hotel and plenty of cafes and traditional Italian butchers/sandwich shops. We have stayed in hotels all over the world, I can say, with

Everything was perfect.

Good location and friendly staff.

Showers were so small that they were barely functional. Rooms were clean but shower was not. No common area to sit and relax.

The Front Staff Santi was warming and welcoming. Made sure our stay was amazing and gave us all the information that we needed along with arranged for our transportation back to the Airport.

We were very positively surprised. The amenities and facilities are limited, but the customer service and cleaning is better than in many five star hotels I've been to. The bathroom was spotless which is a rare sight in any hotel. They run the operation with passion. Perfect location for sightseeing as everything is a quick walk away. We also greatly appreciated the complimentary items, many which you don't expect in a two star hotel. It was also a plus that we never had to wait like in big hotels, especially nice after long flights. Truly enjoyable stay and a strong recommendation.

When we asked for an earlier check-in, the reply could have had a friendlier tone. Perhaps it's a language barrier thing that for a foreigner the replies come off as harsh at times.

Very small bathroom, hard to maneuver. Stairs to climb when you can’t get to the elevator.

Hotel is excellently placed for access to the colosseum and Roman Forum as well as several great restaurants. Staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming and the room was quiet and peaceful, even in the close proximity of restaurants.

Accomodation was great. Wonderful view, easy access to everywhere. Cleaning was extra ordinary good. We loved the hotel very much.
