- Buongiorno a tutto e Salvé,Ti amo vostre hotel storico e fabbolossa. I really enjoyed my stay. The historic location, gracefully curated and selected fusions of the traditional, the intangible and the modern in a beautifully designed interior heart which reflects the grand exterior radiates warmth, welcome and ...have presently ran out of apt "w" words of assonance so let's say old worlde class. The well appointed room was most comfortable and equipped and all the subtle extras were appreciated. The location of course within the falling leaves of the Palatine, one of the 7even Hills of Rome and the naissance of the city itself is simply stunning and made one feel like Sarah Palin who when asked about her foreign policy experience during her public life stated that she could see Russia from her back door. For me, however, the change maker was the vitality, friendliness and knowledge of the always hospitable staff...and there is one hidden gem there in yere beautiful, insightful and vivacious manageress ZaraThere was always lovely interaction between all in the hotel and the Museo di Cucina just across the way...that could and should be marketed for it's artighianale and heritage distinction as it's a fabulous bonus to have on site..Thank you again for making my Stay a memorable experience, Molto grazie, Daniel
- The staff were friendly and helpful.
- Beautiful grounds, on the edge of the Roman Forum. Delicious restaurants just steps away. 15-minute walk to the Colosseum. I felt like I was on a movie set, in the middle of ancient Rome with modern amenities. The room was comfortable and immaculately clean.
Cons -
- The window was high up and hard to see out of (it is an old monastery) and the circo massimo right across the street has outdoor concerts. The bonus is you’d have a free show from the hotel; the downside is the noise of putting up bleachers and the actual concerts.
- There is no elevator, which wasn’t a real problem for me, but could be an issue if you have mobility problems or heavy bags. The shower stall in my room was very small and has bifolding glass doors. Difficult to get in and out if you’re a bigger person. But the water was hot and pressure was great. The walls are thin and I heard adjoining room occupants arguing very loudly late at night. No fault of the property and I would definitely stay again.
- terrible bed, pillows and blanket.

Great location. There are great restaurants nearby, not far from the Colosseum and the Forum.
terrible bed, pillows and blanket.
Great location! Super nice team in reception. New Years celebration was fabulous!
One of the things I want to stress is the staff. Francesco, Tatiana and Ludovika, were extremely, friendly and accommodative. They are what makes this place to shine. Thank you!!!
A huge thank you to Tatiana and Francesco for their incredible hospitality. They were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful, and made my stay truly special. The warm atmosphere and attention to detail made me feel at home from the first moment. Highly recommended, and i would definitely love to come back. See u soon ♥️
Rome is not a quiet city, but the room we had was quiet with a view of the courtyard and the back part of the archeological park of the Colosseum. Beds were very comfy, walking distance to most places, bars and restaurants next door. we were pleasantly surprised. And the staff were great!
all was great, no complaints
The staff were super friendly and helpful, the location was only a 10 minute walk to the colosseum or 20 minutes to Trastevere area. The room was clean and comfortable. Very good value for your money
It was conveniently located to many things and walking distance to the Coliseum. It’s was pretty quiet at night even with the busy street due to being tucked away. I especially enjoyed the charm of the place!
Because I wanted to take my daughter to see some of the stereotypical and central sites I was worried it would be a bit far just out of the center but it was easy to get everywhere by Taxi and walkable if you have time. It is nice to see the other side of Palatine hill, the food nearby is more local and there are less crowds. The place is a cool little haven just off a very busy street between the Circus Maximus and the back of Palatine Hill.
There’s nothing I didn’t like, I’d just say that there are no frills or luxuries or amenities, no breakfast, no room service, simple beds, simple shower, carry your own luggage. But this is just fine if it’s what you’re expecting, simple and clean and for the price it was fair enough, a good find. It’s a cool building and the staff were super friendly.
Breakfast N/A.Location excellent.Staff: they were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, willing to help, they were great, and deserve a higher salary or bonus ?.
We would have chosen a bigger room , because of the amount of days we stayed, a bigger room with more furniture would have been better for the 10 day stay, but that was our choice.
One of a kind property with a rich history and very close to coliseum and steps away from great restaurants and cafes. The rooms are clean and modern with tasteful classical touches. Because it’s a historic building (attached to a small museum and functioning church, no elevators, but the marble stairs are easily navigable with a small rise. My room came with a handwritten note and complimentary snacks including sparkling wine, and an assortment of Italian apperativi snacks.
Nothing at all.
Location friendly staff
Tiny room long way upstairs
The hotel is amazing — the room was very clean and comfortable The location is perfect, close to many of Rome’s most interesting attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only small suggestion would be updating the washrooms slightly — if they were renovated, this hotel could easily jump categories. Overall, a fantastic stay that I’d highly recommend!
Staff were so kind and the Robert was amazing, be sure to walk around and enjoy the entire property.
Property is a little secluded which is both good and bad. Great for relaxing but a little bit of a drive to find a restaurant.
The unique feeling staying in a hotel that remind you of old Roma, great location walking distance from the center, Trastevere and etc

The property is an old monastery and is very beautiful. The room was tiny and cozy for one person. The courtyard felt very private and was a nice place to hang out and relax. The staff were courteous, helpful, and friendly.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property
Great location, very kind staff, charming rooms
A bit noisy in the morning, since there is a restaurant in the garden. The pillows were not comfortable
The location of this room is great because it is in an area near the Forum and yet it is quiet at night. The courtyard of the building is beautiful, with statues and fountains, it feels very peaceful in the midst of a bustling area of Rome. The staff was helpful in scheduling our early morning taxi to the airport. We ate a delicious meal right down the street at Da Nonno.
