Resort la Rochetta has kind and attentive staff with excellent English. The balconey is spacious and offers great views of the neighborhood. The wifi is also excellent

The bathrooms appear quite old and ours had a foul odor and some signs of black mold in the very small shower.

The grounds and eating area are gorgeous. The front desk ladies are very kind. The breakfast and coffee is good

Curtains and blankets need updating and the neighborhood is close by the via but a bit run down

Beautiful property, just outside of Rome. Very quite. The reception staff was exceptional.

The host/concierge was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and they accommodated our baggage delivery service.

The pictures on Bookings led us to believe the place was roomier and more updated. Overall the property was very outdated, and the patio outdoors wasn't really comfortable. Long hill to climb too if walking via Francigena and it is gated so entry requires some figuring out. Breakfast was very mediocre.

Lovely and quiet Bed n Breakfast style hotel in suburb of Rome. The town was welcoming and easy to walk. We would stay here again.

We were walking the Via Francigena and did not have a car, so the location for us was not ideal. Otherwise, if we had a car, it would have been wonderful.

Very expensive breakfast definitely not value for money their fire alarm went off in the middle of the night nobody mentioned the next day. Maybe I’m just used to London but it was strange. Other than that amazing location really beautiful and very helpful staff even over WhatsApp!!

The entire property is surprisingly amazing! The villa has a real soul and its location is extremely calm and secure, day and night, while you are at a few minutes from the road. Breakfast is perfect ! It is highly recommended for individual or a Family for 2-3 days trip!

Terrible

I’ve already complained but you have not actioned get: we were locked out and had to sleep on the sofas. €100 for sofas. Please fix this.

We arrived frazzled and tired having walked an unpleasant 4 mile leg of the Via Francigena along the main road but the welcome and surroundings soothed us quickly. V friendly and hospitable and full of advice,our hostess was great.The surroundings were comfortable and peaceful too. Thank you.

Quiet

The bathroom was full of mold and dirt between the tiles and corners. We were told the lock box on the right side of the room door (common corridor side) had a spare key card, the code to get in was our room door number ? so that means anyone can walk into anybody’s room. Crazy!!

This was a quiet and secure location. Easy to get to the train station and into Rome as well as other locations for great food. If you are looking for a place outside of Rome this is great. We had coffee and pastries every morning at a bar on the way to the train!! Awesome experience! Friendly and very helpful staff!

By train it takes roughly 40 minutes to get into the center of Rome by train. We did not have a car so we walked everyday to the train station. The hill going up to the resort is somewhat long but we made it work. Easiest access is by car. If you are walking this hill is doable but after a day of sightseeing it might not be as fun.

Very hospitable host, godd location and very comfortable accommodation.

Nice hotel in a calm area easy to reach by commuter train from central Rome. Friendly crew. Good breakfast for an extra fee.

My room “11” was old, dirty and had cracks in the wall. Bathroom was extremely rusted with mold in the shower. Floor was laminate not carpet and had an old door frame from a plastic accordion door. Bathroom fan was totally clogged with dust!! Empty minibar. Not even a water bottle! No facilities… No bar or food available on the property. An old over priced vending machine is the only option for food. No gardens, only option to sit outside by the front entrance. 3 star hotel price for a motel room stay. Pictures on bookings are from opening… the room I was given isn’t even posted on the site.

This hotel was exactly what we needed for one night after our long travel from the US. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was quaint.

The location of the hotel was a little tricky as it was about a 20 minute walk to the nearest restaurant but we made it work!
