Pros +
- The hotel is a little quirky. On the 5th floor behind an nondescript façade and reached by a lift that is straight out of a 30's Agatha Christie novel, the reception is bright and elegant and the room large and comfortable. The staff were helpful and accommodating.A simple breakfast was provided at a small café nearby, whose staff, in turn, were also very friendly. It was well positioned for the Metro ( about 500 metres away) which linked us to all the essential tourist sites at 1.50 euro per trip, and there are several restaurants in walking distance.
- Location perfect, staff great. Cleaning lady very nice portrait which had something motherly, loved her. Room basic but that is what I aimed for since the plan was not to stay there a lot.
- The location was perfect, close to the train station and also close to the bus stations. The stuff is really nice, helpful and kind!! The room is spacious, the bathroom is also big and everything is clean. Also there was absolutely no noise, everything was really quiet. I would recommend this hotel to everyone ☺️
Cons -
- Bathroom is very narrow. Also had a smell when we arrived which was not nice. Some air and running g the tabs solved it.
- We found the bed very hard and uncomfortable. Spoke to mgt about this and were told their beds are orthopaedic ones hence the problem for us. Quirky small lift - we just managed to squeeze in ourselves, 2 large and 1 small suitcases and 2 small rucksacks.

Good location 9 minutes walk from the station and convenient to walk into the city centre if you’re happy to walk for 35 mins or so. Very secure access on 5th floorLarge room, small shower room Breakfast is at a local cafe 5 mins walk - coffee and croissant. Excellent food at Restaurant Julie just down the road.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The elevator was interesting. We were allowed to check in early without an extra charge. Check-in instructions were clear and easy.

Good location not far from good caffe and restaurants. Our room pointed to a courtyard, so there wasn't much external noise. Staff greeted us well and easily checked in and out. AC was great and kept room at good temperature
Wasn't noise proof between rooms and could hear people in bathrooms adjacent. Also, doors banging late at night and loud chatter. Bathroom was ok but mould on ceiling..No room for toiletries or hanging towels to dry properly
The 24 hour concierge was very much appreciated. Courteous and generous with his time. It must be annoying to answer the same questions from every stopover visitor but he did not act like it was a problem at all. Very patient.
The towels were like sandpaper. Crunchy in their rough texture. Cannot imagine why a hotel would provide such towels. The bathmat was very tiny and very warn. This is the only issue I had with Hotel Katty.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast included was very nice.
There was some dust in corners of rooms and the soundproofing of the room wasn't great - we could here construction works far too easily and people in the lobby
The location was excellent. From there we were able to walk to multiple attractions. Staff was always friendly and welcoming.
Towels were rough. One night we were sleeping and all of a sudden a bright light was turned on. We had no idea what the purpose of that light was. It stayed on for about one hour until it finally turned off by itself.
I really enjoyed the location. It’s literally 10 minutos from Termini. Close to EVERYTHING in Roma’s downtown. People at reception were extremely nice with me.
Good location clean se to the train station.
Bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
It was a great value for money. The hotel is situated near the Termini station, only about 10min walk. In the area there are many foreign countries' ambasses, which makes the place safe. The distance to the old city sights to see is absolutely acceptable by walkig or travelling by bus / we did not use the metro/. The hotel is on a quiet street, on the 5th floor of the building. The room where we stayed was clean, spacious enough for 3 people, with simple comfort but still very convenient. Nearby there is a good restaurant The Family with delicious food and acceptable prices.
The only thing that can be better is the lift which is very smal but works properly.
Location was great and staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice size fridge in the room and there's a grocery store around the corner so you get some bottled water for when you wake up. Stay hydrated!
The sheets could have been cleaner, and the geography of my room was a little odd, with a step right just after the door and (difficult to explain, but you had to step into the bathroom). I'm teetotal, so it was easy to navigate, but I imagine if you came back drunk from a night of pasta and wine, it would be a challenge. Finally, the wifi wasn't the best quality - okay for browsing but not for streaming or video calls. Not a problem for me, but if you needed to make a call for work or something, that might be a challenge. Nothing terrible but worth bearing in mind for your needs.
Very good location to travel with trains/car rental in Termini, Express 40 - quick to city/Vatican
The room was really nice and large. It was really refreshing to have so much space after staying in some really small rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful answering all the questions we had. We had a little issue with the wifi which the owner was able to fix. There were so many restaurants nearby as well. You can get 2 euro coffee and croissants coupons from the property for a nearby cafe. We loved going there to get breakfast each morning. The cafe owners were so friendly and sweet. It always made my day.
Nothing, it was great!
Great location near main train station and 2 metro stations, clean room (daily cleaning services), separate bathroom, friendly staff, tasty breakfasts at nearby caffe (pastry and coffee), mini fridge. Overall good experience!
A bit noisy street at night if you like to sleep with open windows, poor quality and speed of WiFi, not enough space to put clothes (we had closet with only hangers, without shelfs). Also elevator is small and a bit slow, but it's cute and you get used to it in a few days :)
Good location close to Termini station. Clean and quiet room. Small breakfast (pastry and coffee) available each day at a nearby cafe. Two bathrooms - toilet and one with shower, clean, with towels and shampoo available for free. Daily cleaning. Elevator (the hotel is on the 5th floor)
The room is simple, just a part of a larger apartment. The offer is basically a mix of renting a small apartment through Airbnb and a hotel.
The location was perfact easily accessible through public transport and close to the city centre.
A bit expensive compared to the provided facilities. Additionally, the light in my room was not as bright as it should be.
