Pros +
- Excellent staff and services, cleanliness of hotel, mini bar at front desk with sitting area, Breakfast and restaurant, Terrace and overall layout. Rooms were very comfortable, clean, and air conditioner for August was very good. Very quiet area on the outskirts of the city, but easily can call a taxi or other transport for a quick ride to the city center.
- We came back to Adoro Hotel for our last night before the flight — and it felt genuinely wonderful to return. From the moment we arrived, we had that rare feeling of comfort and familiarity, like coming back home. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and everything was effortless and pleasant. This second stay confirmed it for us: Adoro is the kind of place you’re happy to return to, and we’ll definitely choose it again next time we’re in Rome.
- We had an excellent stay at Adoro Hotel. The hotel is beautifully renovated and feels elegant and calm, with great attention to detail. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. What truly made the difference was the people: everyone we met—reception, housekeeping, breakfast/restaurant team and all staff members—gave us a strong feeling of real professionalism, care and warmth. Special thanks to Stefano and Flavia for their help and welcoming attitude. We came by car and paid €20 per day for the private parking, which was extremely convenient. It was our first time having a car in Rome, and this location made it easy to explore the surroundings and go on day trips (for example to Tivoli or south of Rome), as well as quick shopping runs. The neighborhood is very pleasant, and there are several very nice restaurants nearby. Also, not far away there is a large supermarket with free underground parking and a huge selection at great prices. The new spa was fantastic—clean, relaxing and a perfect way to end the day. We would definitely come back.
Cons -
- There were a few homeless people camping down the adjacent main street. While walking to get café and pastries they were catcalling my wife and begging me for money. We ignored them. Unfortunately the area around the hotel is a bit dirty and shady. I would use discretion, especially at night. It did not affect my stay at the hotel. I would stay again.
- The room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days out of 4, there were no hot water for 2 days
- I did not notice anything out of place.

It’s nice and cozy the receptionist was friendly
The room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days out of 4, there were no hot water for 2 days
The hotel, the staff, and everyone is nice. I misplaced my wallted during my stay, but the staffs of the hotel contacted me to return it to me.
I did not notice anything out of place.
The breakfast is exactly as it was when the establishment was the Kolping, which was a three-star hotel. Regular Italian bread and not only American bread is a better choice. Eggs were cold.
Breakfast. The desk in the room is too close to the bed, and hence VERY uncomfortable to do any work.
Excellent value for the price. New hotel with quality interior. Soundproof rooms, great beds, good breakfast. Staff is super nice. Quiet location. About 15 minutes from the center by cab. Highly recommended!
Great place quiet and friendly staff not far from rome and great hotel for the price
Breakfast not the best could be improved
Clean, quiet and convenient
The location is very calm, it’s beautiful right next to the Appia regional park. The people that work in the hotel, from the front desk to the restaurant are all brilliant and so so kind.
We stayed here for one night before our return flight and had an excellent experience. The hotel has all the necessary facilities and is just 20 minutes from the city center, with no traffic along the way. Because of this, I recommend choosing this hotel over the more expensive options in the city center. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, and the staff were extremely courteous. It’s a fantastic value for the price, and I highly recommend it for both solo travelers and families who want to save money without compromising on comfort. The breakfast was delicious, and with a restaurant conveniently located inside the hotel, dining was stress-free and convenient.
Nothing to dislike
Nice and clean. The staff very friendly
A little to far from the tourist area but I knew in advance
The facility looked really upscale and the staff still provided breakfast even though we were late for breakfast.
I wish the walk to transportation was a little closer and it would be nice if we knew the spa was actually working
The food there is great, loved it. The employees were very friendly and give the best experience that you could ask for. Lorenzo is the best server/bartender to ask for anything you need. He has a bright future ahead of him.
The room was very clean and spacious.
Since the reception is located underground, carrying luggage can be a bit challenging.
Nice location and level of service
The reservation didn’t match what I booked with Booking.com which ended up in the need to add another room at extra cost.
The air conditioning was not working and the room was hot..the electricity went of several times and caused unconvincing..the hotel is far a way from center .
Great room, a bit far from downtown, public transportation is very convenient. Great hotel with reasonable price, next time I would like still stay in Adoro.
We had a great experience at this hotel. The room was very good, and the overall hotel facilities were remarkable. The restaurant is great, and we loved the variety we had for breakfast. Not to mention the dinner - both food and service were outstanding. The staff was very helpful at all times.
2 points, not deal breakers:- Location: It's about 40mins by bus away from the major tourist attractions. Consider this if you are planning to leave early morning to avoid the tourist crowds- Breakfast: As more guests started to arrive for the extended weekend, the breakfast experience became a bit messy.Again, not deal breakers. Just be prepared.
Mattres was ok and pillows.
It’s not clean. Spiders in the corner of the room, dirty balcon, so no much use of it. For the breakfast we paid extra, and it was ok but not worth it. 3 bananas on whole breakfast room, scrambled eggs and tons of bread and sweets. No protein breakfast. Not worth it.
