Pros +
- It was available last minutel
- Is the perfect hotel for people that want to visit Rome in a few days. Is near to the most important things (bus station, colliseum, trevi, etc.) and the manager was very kind. Always helped me and saved my bagges after the checkout.
- The hotel manager was extremely kind and welcoming. If I came back late at night, he was happy to unlock the door regardless. The room was very quiet for its location by Termini Station. The location was unbeatable if you plan to travel by public transport or take trains out of the city. Since I stayed for a long period, my linen was changed for free. Cleaner did an excellent job and replaced a broken appliance immediately when I brought the issue to their attention. Nearby are two excellent cafés where one can enjoy authentic Italian coffee and treats as well as a supermarket (by Termini Station) and launderettes for washing your clothes.
Cons -
- N0 separate shower and no hot water in the morning. Cost was very high for the quality of the room.
- The walls are thin, so bring earplugs if prefer not to hear your neighbors! Towards the end of my stay, the elevator started to smell really bad. My room could have been a little brighter. I wish guests could have a key to unlock the front door to the hotel, instead of having to call the manager to open it -- doesn't seem fair to wait around or wake him up in the middle of the night.
- It wasnt an hotel its an airbnb first if all its one of the hindis scams it was a desaster i paid 120€ per night for nothing be careful and dont go there its not what you see in the pictures i paid for 4nights the last 2 they were no hit water before i come i tried also to cancel but he didnt even respond to my email to give a yes or no from the room you hear also alot of noise you hear basecly everything outside know that all the good comments you see are also fake one of other politics is that the guy close the door at midnight so you dont have the right to come after midnight he did an exception because of the new year and he was sleep we kept clapping the door so he open i mean this place should close

Nothing was good except the fact that it is close to the center

This hotel was amongst the very few that provided a room with 3 single beds. Perhaps more hotels should consider that there are tourists who prefer this arrangement to having a double- plus a single bed. Excellent location - within walking distance to most tourist attractions. Security is good, everything is very clean and the staff are always helpful. If any of the facilities promised on the website is not readily available, just ask any of the staff and it will be provided.
The bathroom is tiny even for slim people, but this is still preferable to sharing it with other guests, like they claim is common in other Roman hotels even at well over 100 euros/night (be warned!). For the price we paid (just over 150 euros/night), one would probably expect things to be less crammed, but for people who spend little time in a hotel room, like us, the location takes priority, so all in all this place was a good choice.
Perfect location! Friendly personnel!
The room was a bit untidy - i found a chewing gum on the floor, as well as wrapping.
I spent four wonderful days at Stadler 2 Hotel in Rome. I would like to sincerely thank the reception team, for their kindness, professionalism, and the thoughtful gestures they showed me during my stay. Their warm hospitality made my trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Close location to the station, the building has elevator, own bathroom in the room
The worst thing was the smell. We opened the windows for the whole day but it didn’t go, I still don’t understand what was that smell but it was so strong that even people around me asked why do I smell like that… Also, to get inside the hotel, you have to ring the bell and then wait for a receptionist to open. When I got there at 1 am, I had to call my partner that was inside for him to open the door. Personally, I think the price is too much, but I guess it’s because of the location.
Great location, clean and reception guy was great!
You get what you pay for
It was clean and close to Bus station
It was a bit noisy
the room was clean, but...
the rooms need renovation, and the walls need to be thick to block out noise from the neighbors.
Great place to spend a night: close to the Roma TERMINI, ideal if you need to catch a train early next morning. Immaculately clean.
I was there for a night and that night was hard to bear as the ventilator is no replacement for an air conditioner!
Location, staff
Fan was very noisy, most of the plugs didn’t have the power to charge a laptop
Central location to Metro and historical sites.
We felt like we were in a hostel. We noticed on second day it cost extra for A/C—would have loved to know on arrival as they only turned on overhead fan in our room and opened the window as it was 100° outside. Bathroom was very small with toilet, sink, and shower in limited space so everything got wet. Would not recommend for older people as very slippery. Limited toilet paper, no tissues or extra towels, and bedding could be improved. Proprietor was very pleasant. If you like to rough it, this is the place for you.
hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating, it was a pleasure to stay in this great location ! hotel was very cosy and had the necessary facilities.
location
noisy.. no sound insulation. you can hear your neighbors in their toilette
The place was clean.
The staff was a bit rude when I was trying to enter the building. The room was extremely small, and they did not provide enough blankets. Turning on the ac was a 10 euro upcharge, which is weird considering the current price point. There were quite a few places that were better in room size and facilities for this price.

Well located, good shower size, overhead fan and clean, comfortable bed,
Require 28 euro in cash for tourist tax. Won't accept card or bank transfer. Single bed for solo travellers. Small rooms,
The staff was exceptional. Rooms where very nice for the price (50 euros per person per night). Especially for the nice location next to the Main train station. Giving us a lot of ways to get around the city
A minor pet peeve would be that every day we got woken up at 7 am by the church bells. While the bed was comfortable I found the cover a bit thin especially during the night where it can get chilly in Rome in November.
