You can hear what's going on in the hallways which can be problematic if you're a light sleeper
This hotel canceled my reservation and sent me to another hotel which has bad Booking.com reviews and has a low rate for cleanliness, facilities, and value for money. I went to look at the other hotel but refused to stay there because it was not acceptable. Please see reviews of other guests who were threated the same by this hotel. This hotel refuses to reply to 3 of my Booking messages and is refusing to refund the money I paid them when I initially reserved the room.
Hotel Luce is a charming, traditional hotel conveniently located near Termini Station, making it an excellent base for exploring Rome. Despite being close to a busy transport hub, the area felt well connected and practical for getting around the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to help with recommendations and local tips. We were able to request a late check-out, which was greatly appreciated and made our departure much more relaxed. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with a classic Italian feel that added to the overall experience. It was clear that cleanliness and attention to detail are a priority here. For food and drink, I highly recommend Luigi Cantina e Cucina opposite – affordable, fantastic food, great wine, and excellent fizz. Very much worth a visit. For essentials, the Conad supermarket inside Termini Station has everything you might need during your stay.If you’re after budget souvenirs like €1 keyrings or magnet tourist items, try searching “Powder Vintage Shop” on Google Maps. On our way there, we came across a couple of stalls, although the shop itself was closed when we visited—possibly because it was a Sunday.Overall, Hotel Luce offers a warm welcome, a clean and stylish stay, and a great location. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, traditional hotel in Rome.
Very close to the station, restaurants. Kind staff.
The receptionist was kind and recommended us a great restaurant as well as helped with anything we needed. Rooms were clean and well prepared
Location
Noise and Smell in the room
Friendly staff, decent hotel. Room was clean enough, a tiny bit run down and the room could have done with a lick of paint in places, but I would certainly stay there again.
Room was a tiny bit worn, but I have certainly stayed in worse places.
The best advantage was the location not only because Termini station is the very central stop for everything (train, metro, buses) but also because the area of the hotel is really nice, full of nice restaurants, bakery, cafes etc. You can also walk to Monti, the Colosseum, Sta Maria Maggiore, St. Giovanni in Laterano etc. The communication with the hotel was very good and the staff as well.
Unfortunately walls of the rooms need serious soundproofing, as you could literally hear everything. Also the room and the bathroom weren't spacious. Breakfast was really poor and of poor quality. It is better to go out. It is a small buffet but you have to come early. The second day we came at 9.15 and half of the things were already finished. The poor waiter couldn't handle everything on her own- the hotel should definitely hire a second person.

Very old facilitiesPoor breakfast Small/narrow bed for two
I liked the location and nice staff.
Room was very small and breakfast was not satisfying at all.
The staff was really kind and warm! The facilities are great value for money and the breakfast was excellent! The termini station is 3minute walk away and there are few nice restaurants and bars around the hotel!
Excellent location, quit and very near from Roma Terminal to catch train, metro and tour buses.Hotel staff are very good and supportive.Good cleaning in complete hotel.Bathroom was neat and clean.24Hr helpdesk for checkin and checkout.Good wifi in all area.
Brakefast items were limited and cold, sitting area was ok, neat and clean.Room size was compact for a single room.Shower are in the bathroom was very compact, not comfertable for adult or healthy person to take shower. No jetwater tab, you have to use tissues.
close to train station and cheap cafes
dirty towels,blanket
Great location.
Very tiny room. Bathroom needs some work.
Great location close to all tourist attractions
The room was very small without some basic facilities like tea/coffee, and there was not enough breakfast for all guests
Location is very good. Good value for money.
Breakfast is average.I had requested for a double bed and booked for 4 nights and i was provided twin beds when I checked in. Asked the staff and they said they will change the bed next(2nd) day. I came back late to the room next night and saw it was not changed. Was too tired to ask them again. The third day I asked that i was told the bed would be changed but nothing happened. The staff instead of helping or apologizing kept on telling that since i did not reminded them again to change the bed on 2nd day they did not do so. And they cannot do it now since they don’t have staff. They said they can only provide me a double room for the fourth day. Why do I have to remind you to do your job when you have promised to change it next day? I had an argument with the staff and left and after few hours they came back to tell me that they can offer me a double bed room and i can change now. Also they don’t have any coffee or electric kettle in the room. They have a vending machine for coffee close to the reception. I paid for the coffee/espresso. Wanted to add little hot water. There was a electric kettle next to the vending machine. I thought it would be ok to heat some water in it. But when i had put some water to heat it one of the staff(same receptionist an Argentinian guy) came out to said you cannot use the kettle its just for display, if you want hot water get it from kitchen. Why do you put a water kettle for display? Ridiculous.
Courteous staff, amazing location close to Termini. Clean small rooms.
