    Pros +

    • The front desk lady - Excellent
    • The hotel was very clean. The employees weee extremely helpful.
    • Staff was fantastic.

    Cons -

    • Very old, room was not as shown in your selections, tv selections limited, toilet seat loose, shutters had to be latched from the inside so they stopped banging with the wind. Only the one window so not light because of closed shutters. Would not go again
    • In my opinion this hotel is not a good location, if you¿re a tourist. It is to far from Rome city center. There are no activity in this area. Also. I didn¿t like that there were stairs to get to everything in the hotel .
    • The elevator was incredibly loud! Sounded like a missile launch. Air conditioner incapable of cooling room. Bathroom had zero storage or place for bathroom items Many stairs - some without handrails Difficult for older folks to get around.

Staff was cooperative. Special mention should be made of the girl at reception  who was very helpful.

Bar fridge was not working. The replacement was also not working. Air-conditioning was poor.

    The location

The receptionist was very rude. I booked two rooms and in one of them the AC wasn¿t working and there was no window either. The receptionist phone wasn¿t working so we had to come up and down several time in order to talk to the receptionist.

The air conditioning did not work during our entire 11 night stay. The room had no windows, so it was so unbearably hot in the room that it was difficult to sleep. When we asked the staff (daily) if we could be switched to another room, they said no.

It was a beautiful building, safe, quiet location. Nice to have a mini fridge. Clean pleasant room.

Internet didn't work in all parts of the hotel like the gym. The gym only had one cardio piece of equipment which was broken. The other machine was not working well. No towels and hours not early enough. I had a hazard displaced wooden piece of the floor

    Location is not convenient.

The hotel is in a quiet part of Monte Sacro district, very well connected to buses. There is a lot of green in that area and it is quiet despite being close to bus terminals and stores. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room was spacious and practical and had a lot of natural light. There is a cute patio.

Parking is nearby but not right at the hotel, and there is not valet. Lots of steps inside the hotel, not ADA-friendly.

Located at the top of a narrow, one-way Street in a very residential area, the hotel is fairly quiet except for an occasional barking dog and definitely safe, a quick walk down the hill and you find every service you can think of: food: grocery stores, cafes, a lovely church, and a central Hub in Sempiane of many buses The staff is absolutely lovely especially Francesca who was most helpful period

Returning at night, the cabs often miss the turn to access the street. if you are on foot that little Hill becomes a little bit bigger after a heavy dinner period The tv needs to be upgraded to a smart TV so we can use Netflix and Tube, etc

Varied buffet menu for breakfast. Ability to order light snack such as pizza in evening. Staff were generally friendly. Room facilities were adequate.

Location. The Booking.com website says the hotel is 300m from the nearest metro station. We found it to be further than that, and when we checked Google maps it says the distance is 700m. If you want to avoid a steep ascent of over 40 steps, that goes up to 800m. There are very few restaurants within a 10 minutes walk of the hotel. The hotel was let down by poor service. For example, when we used the small milk cartons provided to make tea or coffee in our room, we expected these to be automatically replaced the next day, but that never happened during our entire 6 day stay. We always had to go down to reception to get more. One morning we went for an early 7.30 breakfast. When we saw there was no butter and asked for more, we were simply told that it had run out. When we arrived at the hotel, a light bulb in our room was not working. We told reception, and it was replaced, but in such a way that when we turned out the main lights before sleeping, that light remained on. Small things, but cumulatively they created a poor impression.

Spacious room, all common area well kept. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Small fridge in the room was not working, and air conditioning was very poor.

Amazing staff , extra twin bed

Location little far from airport Uber/taxi was expensive

    7SalbiePosted on: 7-9-2024

The staff and location were good.

The rooms were cleaned very late. Which, we found to be inconvenient. When you are out all day and you come back to an unmade room, it is a bit disappointing.

Staff was exceptional. We left a cellphone and they were great about locating it and holding it until it could be returned.

English skills of front desk were just OK. Just the one lady, the rest of the staff was great and she was still friendly.

Very clean, large and comfortable room. The staff were courteous and helpful. I had been to a chain hotel before and will definitely return

From the reception 6 steps separate from the lift and for someone like me carrying heavy suitcases it is not the best. In the evening, returning to my room, I found an attendant sweeping the elevator and he didn't stop seeing me at the door but made me wait in a situation that is not elegant for a hotel of this level. The location is not great but close to metro B
