    Pros +

    • Great Location, Excellent Breakfast
    • The staff was unbelievable! I have never felt so welcome anywhere. From check in to our final goodbyes, we felt like family. The rooms were cozy and immaculate and the building so full of character and history. If ever return to Rome this will be home!

    Cons -

    • It is by no means a 3 star hotel, more of a student hostel. The lights throughout the hotel is dull, this property needs a major upgrade the walls are dirty, bathrooms has mold
    • There were no negatives that we were aware of. The shower was a bit small, but they worked just fine for getting clean! Our stay created wonderful, fun memories!
    • Our room opened over an exuberant courtyard where young people gathered until early in the morning.

The room was spacious and close to the mains bars and restaurants in Trastevere.

The room was very cold. We asked for the thermostat to be turned up higher but that didn't seem to work.

Staff at hotel was excellent a very pleasant and accommodating. Location of hotel within walking distance to attractions.

Showers on the small side and did not stay hot for long

The staff was very friendly and able to keep my luggage while I went out sightseeing. I appreciated the woman doing the breakfast especially. The room was simple but comfortable. The location was amazing.

The room was smaller than I would've liked, and the lighting was pretty cold and depressing. The window to my room overlooked an alley, so there was little light coming in.

The breakfast was simple but very good. The location was great. The room was small but clean and suited our needs. The staff were excellent. They were friendly and took a genuine interest in us.

Cute little hotel in the heart of Trastevere.Bars, restaurants and cafes everywhere. A short walk or public transport away from all the historic sights while far enough away to have a bit more calm and quiet.

The staff is incredible! Specially Ann, our mornings were always delightful with her sweet smile Ann and Genesis were very kind at breakfastIf you arrive Rome by trainitalia - you can just get off at Trastevere station instead of Ostience like we did ?Restaurants and convenience store are around the corner Front desk person can help you calling taxis In general our stay was great !

The sheets in one of our rooms were dirty, can’t write what I found there - We arrived at midnight, so we had to search ourselves and luckily found where they had clean fresh sheets - so we solved it

This is truly one of the best hotels and locations you can choose in Rome.First of all, the location is outstanding. You are surrounded by some of the best restaurants and cafés in the Trastevere area, and the quality of food is simply excellent. Whether you choose to sit down at a restaurant or just grab a sandwich at a café, you really can’t go wrong. We traveled with two kids, and having a playground just one block away was a huge bonus — they absolutely loved it.The hotel itself is very nice and extremely clean. If you are looking for a warm, family-like atmosphere, this is the place. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Carolina, Patrizia, and Helena — you truly made our stay unforgettable. Our room was very comfortable. It’s not fancy, but it has everything you need. We stayed in December, and the heating worked perfectly and was easy to regulate, which made the room very cozy.We also really enjoyed the European breakfast every morning. And Helena — the way you serve tea and coffee somehow makes it taste even better. Thank you for that special touch!During our stay in Rome, we only took a taxi once — early in the morning for our Vatican tickets to make it easier on the kids. Other than that, we walked everywhere and easily reached all the main sights. The hotel really does have a perfect location.Whenever we return to Rome, we will absolutely stay at this hotel again.

Wonderful location! Clean, cozy accommodations. Hosts were incredibly kind and generous! Breakfast and morning cappuccino was lovely.

    Nothing to dislike.

The staff and location were great, the breakfast was good.

Our room was extremely noisy, we could hear people from the other rooms all night, talking, flushing the toilet, etc., which made it difficult to us to sleep and rest.

    10ElizabethPosted on: 11-29-2025

The staff were the heart of the property. From Patrizia at front desk to Elana in the front desk and Romel as the “room service coffee” and more guy, everyone who works there was exceptional. Also the location for the neighbourhood feel yet easy access to the top sites of Rome.

Perfect location , staff friendly and helpful

The breakfast- there were just a few things and also this not enough

The location was excellent, the staff friendly, and price reasonable.

Everything was nice and comforting. We had everything we needed. The room was super cozy, clean and spacious! Service of staff was amazing ! Thank you

    Nothing!

    9RichardPosted on: 11-8-2025

Location was great, a busy area with cafes etc slightly away from the main tourist areas but only a short walk away.

Expensive but saying that, everywhere is expensive in Rome right now

Location was very good..Very friendly and service oriented personnel. Helped us getting the taxi at 4am!The AC worked all right.

This was an old property. Thus, we understand this was the main reason for the room to be noisy. We were on the first floor. We could hear the hotel's and room doors opening and closing, the conversations of the people of the rooms, particularly, the room in front of our door. The plumbing system was very noisy, thus, we heard other rooms flushing and shower.

Budget-friendly hotel in a great location with clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious breakfast.

No complaints at all! Would gladly stay again.

    8ChristinePosted on: 10-25-2025

Rooms are small, clean, comfortable. Bathroom was small but efficient. Staff were accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of options. Location is a bit off the beaten path but still centrally located to see all the sites. Restaurants and bars are easy to find throughout the Travestere neighborhood. For recommendations, the staff can be very helpful.

    Our shower drained poorly.
