The location was excellent and my room was very large and extremely clean. King-size bed was exceptional, plump pillows and great feel to it.

There were issues with keys to access the property. My very good friend was locked out a few times and I had to help her access the property. This caused her distress and it was a cause of concern for me. I hope they resolve the key issues and just deploy codes as the location and rooms are great.

great location in the middle of the shopping district and close to Spanish steps and about 15-20 min walk to pantheon and Trevi. clean and functional

keys didn’t easily open many doors/ gates to enter property and sometimes didn’t work at all- told to turn at a specific angle. no reception or people working there so made me feel anxious every time I left in case I couldn’t get back in. transpires bedroom door key to other bedroom also opened my door ( friend in other room let himself in by mistake).

Received warm welcome from host, who gave recommendations on places to go. They also offered a ride from the airport and sent a website where you could buy tickets for various things (there was a promo code, so perhaps this is to get credit for referring guests as clients?). Central location. Neighborhood was not loud. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, there was a mini-fridge, decor showed personality. It was convenient to text them via whatsapp at any time. The host was very kind and made a good effort to provide a nice stay.

Water drains slowly in shower. There is no wifi in the room. I informed the host of these via text, and it shows the message was read, but I didn't receive a reply about it, so I'm not sure if these will be addressed. The wifi works if you go into the hallway, where you run the risk of hearing people doing things in their rooms, which made me feel uncomfortable (Rome is a city where many couples go for vacation...). One bedside lamp didn't work. There is no overhead light over the bed, so looking at my phone in bed strained my eyes. Heater didn't work. Musty smell in room and especially in bathroom. Water stains on shower head.

We loved the location of Centrale Relais this was our second visit to the property. This time we stayed in the Suite which was very large and good facilities.

There was a little noise from the room upstairs due to the wooden flooring and as the room is adjacent to the reception sometimes people coming and going made some noise banging the door. Also the windows back on the street outside which again was a little noisy however you are in the centre of Rome so to be expected.

The internet does not work in the room, the bathroom needs maintenance, you need 4 keys to enter your room, the towels smell uncomfortable

Zoya was very helpful and provided me with a prepared map with recommended restaurants and historic sites to visit on check in. She organised a taxi for our departure to the airport, who arrived on time. The location is right downtown close to the Via del Corso and consequently great value for money.

Whilst the bedroom was very clean, the product is poorly maintained as floorboards were loose, the mixer tap handle came off and the elevator handle came off in your hand. it should be noted that the elevator is communal to the building and all residents and offices and not just guests staying in Boutique Centrale.

The rooms were a bit worn. I.e. chipping, cracked paint under wash basin.

the room location was too close from the center and from most of the restaurants, also the room in safe area, the front desk lady was so kind and responding to me all the time.

I don’t like the bed cover, it was not clean and it’s damaged, so they have to change the covers of the bed and pillows between the visitors

Good location

I have booked more expensive room, that looks like old style, but we got a key from cheaper room anyway. After discussing with reception, they gave us room like in pictures, but told that window is broken. Damages on the window were not serious and it was ok. But everything else in apartment needs deep cleaning and repair

The location is very good.

In the pictures, the room looks super beautiful, clean and like new. But in reality it is very, very used, the walls are black at the base, the bathroom cabinet where the sink is is cracked and the paint is coming off. The sink looks awful. The curtain and the drapery are detached and the refrigerator is put there for nothing because it doesn't work. The pictures were taken probably 10 years ago... the room looks very dirty.

The location was very good. Many monuments and shops were in a close walking distance.

I never write a bad review unless all the below take place at the same time during a 3-night stay. 1. The lift broke on our first day there. I immediately send a message to the host who said there is nothing she could do and can only handle it the next day. The lift was repaired at noon of the next day so we had to go up and down three floors for almost a whole day. My mother who is 70 was with me so you understand that this got me worried about her health too. 2. On the second day the key to the main door of the building wasn't working and I called and messaged the host who didn't reply until late at night, only to tell me that she is not available (a resident of the building opened the door, otherwise we would be left outside). 3. The host (maybe because she didn't like that we complained about the broken lift and the broken main door, didn't put water bottles in the fridge, even if she did so the previous days. 4. Every night the garbage bins from outside were moved in the entrance of the building. As a result a horrible smell was there every single night.5. The A/C was noisy, so if you cannot sleep with a noise on, I don't recommend you sleep there. 6. The bathroom floor had stains from the previous tenant's soap foam (not pleasant to be the first to take a shower there), and lastly, the faucet handle was broken.

The location was excellent, within walking distance of many major attractions. The bed was large and comfortable.

The checkin was a nightmare ? Despite there knowledge of our train and arrival time..no one there. Sitting there for over an hour trying to contact the numbers written on the door. They do not work. Finally a store clerk next door was able to contact someone for us.The owner arrived shortly thereafter. He was pleasant and apologized for the mishap, but did not inform us of the quirks of the various doors that where stuck, including the heavy wooden door to the building entrance. A resident told us how to get it working.

The room was very clean and neat. Staff very friendly and the location is perfect. Everything was reachable by foot

Outside noise was very loud sometimes, the hotel is in the center of the city so during the evening loud cars and loud people can be heard. If you are not a heavy sleeper, this could be an issue.

would be better if Netflix app was downloaded onto the smart tv. lots of touching up to do on the furnishings. paint completely peeled off the bathroom counter. the tap knob would fall off the second you touched it. bathroom shower not clean. lots of dirt marks
