This hotel feels like pure luxury - the rooms, the bed, the staff - everything has been thought of. We stayed here for the last leg of our honeymoon and were greeted with cookies and Prosecco. These little touches are so memorable, and we’ll remember The First Musica forever. The rooftop bar also has amazing views of the city and excellent cocktails.
One small suggestion would be to have irons available in each room.
The hotel itself is lovely, with amazing décor that truly adds to the ambience. The room we were initially booked into was upgraded to a studio suite upon arrival, which was a wonderful surprise and much appreciated. The shower was fantastic with great water pressure and plenty of space. The location is quite central, within walking distance of many attractions. However, it’s worth noting that the Colosseum and surrounding areas are about a 40-minute walk away. If you’re visiting during the summer months, be prepared for a long trek in 35-degree heat—taking a taxi might be a more comfortable option.
Unfortunately, our room wasn’t fully ready when we arrived. Basic amenities like toothpaste, a toothbrush, an iron, and an ironing board were missing. While the staff did bring these items up very quickly when we requested them, it was an inconvenience nonetheless. The Wi-Fi was another letdown; it didn’t always work, which was frustrating when trying to stay connected. The room also had speakers, but we discovered that you could accidentally connect to speakers in other rooms, which was an odd and potentially privacy-invading issue. Additionally, while the AC was functional, it only cooled down to 21 degrees, which wasn’t as cold as we would have liked given the outside temperature.Another minor but notable issue was that the dressing gowns weren’t always changed daily. We had to request fresh ones on a couple of occasions, which again felt like an oversight in what should be standard service for a hotel of this calibre. The most disappointing part of our stay happened the night before our checkout. I went to the reception around 10 pm to check our remaining balance and request a late checkout. The receptionist assured me that a 2 pm checkout was fine and that he would note it on our reservation. However, the next day, I received a call around 12 pm asking us to check out. I explained what the previous receptionist had told me, but the staff seemed sceptical, as they couldn’t reach their colleague to confirm my story. Later, when the staff came to our room, my husband had to reiterate the situation, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. As a lawyer, I certainly have no reason to fabricate such a trivial matter, and this incident put a damper on what had otherwise been a good stay.It left us feeling that the hotel was disorganised and that communication among the staff was lacking, which shouldn’t happen at this level of service.

Modern design hotel, pretty new construction. Very nice area if you want to be close to Vatican. Prati is an old but upcoming district. Very nice rooftop fro sunset and cocktails. Good meeting point with friends.
If you would like to be close to other popular sights than the Vatican, it's quite a walk from the hotel. Prati is nice, although most fancy restaurants are located on the other side of the river.
Amazing staff, comfortable beds, clean showers and bathrooms, the breakfast was so delicious and great assortment and variety. They helped us with hotel shuttle and shuttle to the port. They all spoke great english, very friendly, great stories to tell. The rooftop has a bar for sunset drinks, served delicious canapes and drinks. The location is perfect if you want to explore Rome on foot, we walked everywhere. We stayed 3 days, went on a cruise, and came back to stay for one more night.
Nothing - it was perfect experience.

I recently stayed for two nights at The First Musica, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Katarina and Stefano at the reception, who both went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to assist with any request truly stood out and made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of elegance and comfort, with beautifully designed rooms that offer stunning views and all the amenities one could wish for. The location is perfect, allowing easy access to the city’s top attractions, yet it still provides a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle.Overall, my stay was fantastic, largely due to the incredible service provided by Katarina and Stefano. I highly recommend The First Musica to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future.

This hotel is beautiful and in a brilliant location, it is a short walk away from wonderful squares and places to dine and sights to see. The rooms were divine, very comfortable beds and with amazing views and no detail is missed. Steffano and Katarina on the front desk were absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble from the moment we arrived. All of the staff were great and attentive, the doorman greeted us with helpful assistance and a friendly smile each time we saw him. The experience felt luxurious and easy throughout. The cocktail bar is also very special, and has views of the city. Not a bad word to say about this hotel - we would very highly recommend this hotel if you are ever looking for a place in Rome!
The staff are amazing, they were super friendly and nice, their service is available 24/7 and you always feel welcomed. They even helped me arrange for my next destination. The hotel was cozy it feels like a home especially with the blackouts.
Rooms were a bit tight but it was okay. Walls were a bit thin we could hear the noise from the room above us and the corridor smells like cooking although the rooms smelt nice. The location is okay and the area is very calm so if you want a busy area i wouldn’t recommend staying in this area. We had to request transportation every time we left the hotel.
Perfect location, New hotel and luxury hotel. It was very clean and the room is cosy and comfy.
