Pros +
- Close to everything without being overrun with tourists. I would stay here again when in Rome.
- Everything about this hotel was great! Check in was super easy and the location of this hotel was close to all nearby attractions. It was conveniently close to public transportation as well.
- Location is close to pantheon and many restaurants. The hotel included a device that made it easier to navigate the city.
Cons -
- Have to pay for breakfast, but it was good for a hotel breakfast.
- The elevator was broken when we got to the hotel. Luckily it was fixed by the time we checked out but if there are mobility issues then might want to make sure you're on the first floor.
- A lot of noise around 3-4 am when the bars close and drunk people walk around.

Location! Very easy to walk everywhere. The rooms were nice and clean.

Location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread at restaurant next door was very good.
I came to find out many "hotels" are really rooms in apt buildings. So, this was no different. Room smelled of something - perhaps smoke. Staff did what they could.
Location.
This is not a hotel in my opinion. But, it works. No phone in room to call reception when u need something.
Location
The location of the hotel was great - close to a taxi stand and most things that we wanted to see/do were within a 30-45 min walk.
This hotel was more like a VRBO or AirBnB, not the full services of a hotel. The 'front desk' is only staffed for a small amount of hours. To get in you use an app on your phone (make sure your phone is charged and has data access). We are a relatively tech savvy family and still had some missteps. It was very nerve wrecking arriving after the front desk was closed (apparently at 7:30/8?) and with suitcases we had to get through three locked doors with an app. The process took about 30 minutes and it felt very much like an escape room. This might sound fun, but not when you're in a strange city at 9:30 at night with your child and suitcases. For this reason I would not stay in this hotel again. I prefer having 24/7 service/staff when I am paying that amount for a hotel. Additionally, it was not communicated to us where the hotel breakfast was served. It was in a different 'tower' which we didn't even know was part of our same hotel until day 3, so we didn't get to take advantage of this amenity.
No communication when checking in never told where breakfast was didn’t give any helpful information about the city or dining. Was in middle of speaking with them and they answered the phone and told us to wait then started talking to another person about there checking in. Plus there accommodations were not up to par
The entire staff and room
Great location and on a nice quiet street
The hot water ran out I. The middle of my husband’s show twice and never got hot for me the last night. The WiFi was not great.
Ideal location walking distance to everything, and the accommodation was perfect and breakfast was good too. Staff were friendly.
The bed mattress wasn’t really comfortable
Superb location, steps from the Pantheon, great little restaurants and trattorias, all around, central to all walking tours, taxis. THe room was elegantly appointed, with many extra touches, 3 double doors to the balcony. Spacious bathroom with large jetted tub, shower, bidet, etc. Sparkling clean overall and so quiet for restful sleep on fine king bed. The staff was always so helpful and cheery.
Check in was easy. The room comfortable and staff helpful.
I booked this hotel because it advertised an elevator. Unfortunately, our room was located in an area that was not accessible by elevator.
The location is the highlight of this hotel. You are right in the heart of the city overlooking cafes, restaurants, and bustling streets just 2 blocks away from the Pantheon. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The historical building entry is fantastic since you get access to the hotel through one of the giant 10 or 12 foot tall doors.
During our stay, there was one day we didn't have hot water, but I think this was a problem for the entire building and not necessarily the fault of Hotel Le Clarisse. While it didn't affect us, I think bookers should know that staff is not always available at this spot. They have set hours and not available at the desk 24/7.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. For example, on our last morning before leaving for the airport we had an early breakfast. Unfortunately the coffee machine was not working. However, on our way out, the host met in the lobby with a coffee to go once she got the machine working. I little thing...but a nice extra touch.
Great location but plan to walk or take a taxi. There is not a metro station nearby.
Terrace was good, location and cleanliness were great
Noise from other rooms and street. Entrance not marked well. Elevator is very small- 2 people max- appears to be shared areas with another entity.
The location was perfect.
However I did not like the room , it was nothing like was in the picture, was like a corner structure. Also was not enough sunlight and difficulty to breathe. In case of emergency would be impossible to get out from that room, because there is metal installation on the window. I don't understand how this room could be given family with a kid.
For Europe our room was very large. The beds and air conditioning were amazing and we had the best sleeps. The girl that worked the front desk was really kind and so was the woman at breakfast. Breakfast was a bit more than the typical euro breakfast and there was enough options for everyone. The location of the hotel is very close to the pantheon and other tourists spots such as the Spanish steps and Trevi.
The location was very central to what we wanted to visit, and the included breakfast, hosted by the attentive Tina and Claudia, started our days off well! The room was comfortable for us 3 people, and quiet as well! Thankfully, the air conditioning worked very well (it was close to 97 degrees Fahrenheit for a couple of days!) When we returned around 2pm from tourist stuff to relax, our beds and room were cleaned and ready for use! Very attentive staff, but you barely saw them!
The lighting in the bathroom was fairly dim, so it could use more lighting, especially near the shower area. In addition, the room could use a little more space to store clothing.
SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE, DO NOT STAY HERE.
DO NOT STAY HERE we were ROBBED by their OWN CLEANING STAFF and the hotel is covering it up.During our stay, cash was stolen from our hotel room. There was a safe, but we were never informed it existed no mention at check-in, no signage in the room, nothing. When we reported the theft, the hotel’s response was shocking: • They claimed no responsibility • They offered us two free nights (why would we ever return to the place we were robbed?) • And worst of all, their system that logs who enters guest rooms was "down", meaning anyone with access staff or otherwise could’ve entered at any time, and there's no way to know who.No accountability. No security. No real help. This is not just poor service it’s negligence. If you care about your safety, your belongings, and being treated with basic respect, do NOT stay here.
