Glam Luxury Rome

Air conditioning noisy and switched off all night... Also after complaining to the reception. Beware this hotel, there is nothing glamour or luxurious about it, especially when the air conditioning doesn't work !

Great location, clean, good room service.

A bit too small room, the minibar was charged more than the prices shown on the menu, the soundproofing between the rooms is not very good.

Room was clean, staff was very nice.

Hotel is on a main road so it’s loud! We could hear everything outside plus what the guests in the rooms next to us were doing- showering, talking, etc.

Very nice hotel, at the center of Roma. We had a late check in there was no problem accessing the place, the check-in took just a few minutes and we were already enjoying a nice spacious room! Coffee machine and capsules were a pleasant surprise - not to mention they were renewed every day. The stuff is very helpful even though we did not require a lot of assistance. Free luggage storage is an absolute plus.Would definitely chose to stay there again)

Elevator was a necessity. Older elevator but it did the job.

Hotel located on 5th floor of a public building but that aspect was not mentioned in description of property.

The air conditioner worked great.

The elevator couldn't take two people beyond the 3rd floor. Our room was on the 5th floor.The shower was extremely small and the doors slid shut as you tried to step into or out of the shower. No shelves for shampoo etc in the shower. No grab rails. The shower was about 18" off thr floor (difficult to access) wouldn't recommend for anyone over 60.

it was very centric and could be reached walking distance from termini.

I got a very cheap room and for the fair that I paid I believe they could have given me a better room, they lost power one night and it was very hot, middle of summer, the ac stops working and instead of calling and offering a solution they stood quiet it was until an hour latter that I had to call and they gave me another suite in another floor with working ac, but the water heater wasnt working, so cold shower.

Location was good, beds were comfortable

Terrible elevator, could only handle the weight of one person at a time and no baggage, air conditioning broke down twice

The staff and especially the night shift guy, the guy in the morning with a coat, not cooperative

We went on our 40th anniversary and was a disaster. The ac was not working in room 57. We had to call them all the time it was like an oven please don't go there you should refund my money the staff so me sweating I WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS i paid full price foe a day because I had to check in early get my refund

Clean room that was close to shopping and lots of nice restaurants . Has AC and they provided toiletry and housekeeping service . More like a boutique style room . Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly , provided every requests

The bathroom was very small , could hardly turn in the shower, the Elevator was so annoying it hardly worked , so some time had to take the stairs even being on fifth floor .

First of all the location - it is very good, I would say almost excellent. Up the street you have 2 metro stations nearby, Republica and Termini - perfect to get around. And walking distance to all the famous locations is good and reachable. It might be a bit tricky to find in the beginning, since there are many hotels in one building, but you will find a banner showing that GLAM is in this building. The room was also clean.

The isolation between rooms is simply horrible. I understand that this is an old house, but you can hear everything your neighbours and talking as well as every step on the floorway. Didn't really give me a chilled and relaxed sleep, unfortunately. Since I've read it in other reviews, I can confirm - the water in the shower may take a lot of time before getting warm, if at all - if you're in a hurry and want to have a nice wam shower, well: good luck! One time, I waited for over 10 minutes and had to shower in almost cold water! Not cool at all. I Assume there is a boiler, since you hear a loud sound from time to time - obviously, it is not powerful enough or whatsoever. During the summer, the price is obviously a lot better off season. But if I look at the prices during the summer, no - definitely not going to pay that much ever! But I guess that's just part of Rome and milking the cow - you have no other options than to pay these crazy amounts.

The room was clean and the reception Adam (i think) was lovely! We arrived at 3am and no late check in fee was charged. Other hotel in Rome usually has this. So, yeay us! The location was superb!

Long time foe hot water to come through in the showers. Water was not replaced for our second day. More like an apartment than a hotel.

Location is excellent, clean and staff are very helpful. Plenty restaurants around and great distance to many attractions

Location was very good -- near Rome Termini train station and within walking distance of most attractions. Quiet room, clean and comfortable with nice natural light and good security. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was a bit small. This was not a hotel but room only in a building sharing other uses, reception was the only facility but it was adequate for sleeping only. Very tiny slow lift.

Clean and very big room. Nice balcony and city view. Walking distance to many attractions and a bus stop only a few meters away.

It is an old building so the elevator is also very old. Unfortunately we were only able to use it for once before it stopped functioning, we had to use the stairs and we were on the 5th floor. Visitors should definitely consider this.
