Hotel Cilicia is set in a quiet area of Rome, 0.6 mi from the Appia Antica Regional Park, and a 15-minute walk from Re di Roma Metro station, on line A. It offers a private garden, and air-conditioned rooms with mini-bar and free Wi-Fi. Parking is available at extra cost. The rooms feature a classic style, with carpeted floors and elegant furnishings. Each room is complete with a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Restored from a building dating back to the 1950s, Cilicia Hotel is complete with a bar and a seating area in the garden. St. John’s Cathedral is reachable on foot in about 20 minutes and local buses provide direct links to the Coliseum.

- It looks very nice on the outside, must have been an excellent hotel when it was built in 1950
- I like everything about this hotel - the location (near bus and metro), quite place, friendly and absolutely helpful staff, good price, stunning breakfast !
Cons -
- It was dirty. The beds were old and saggy the shower was dirty and SMALL, the air vent was disgusting. I did ask them to come and clean a few things, they did not, though they did something so the water in the shower would drain.
