Cons -
- AC was not working in the room. It was horrible.
- The location was a bit fare away but we had our ways to move by bus and train. The bed was a problem as we expected a queen mattress and we got a individual beds tight together.
- If your room is not on the side of the pool on the other side, they have a generator will turn on early morning the sound and the smell of diesel. It’s very annoying.

My room had a balcony and there was a free parking for my car. Very clean, extremely friendly staff.

The staff really helpful and kind, the breakfast was great, cleanliness was great I would prefer to stay again
The only thing that I have observed the water in swimming pool was not clear ?
Very clean, 7th floor was renovated, like a luxury hotel… big applause Great food, great rooms, great pool Free parking lots!!! Perfect for traveling with car
There is nothing not to love
The breakfast, the room and the pool were amazing!! I highly recommend this hotel!
Staff are friendly but not those in reception at morning
Very dirty room, insects bites my kids ??? Bed bug .. very bad smell .. no professionalism because I asked for pool view and they gave me psrking view unless people swim on street !!!
Nothing at all!
They stole my Apple Watch. I can see through the FIND MY IPHONE app that it’s still at their location, but they keep claiming they don’t have it. I even called them the same day I forgot it, but no one answered. They kept telling me they were busy. Today, I traveled all the way back from Milan to Rome just to try and get my watch back, and they still told me they don’t have it. I made this trip for nothing, even though I can clearly see the watch is still there. Not to mention the cleanliness, which was absolutely terrible, and the hotel’s location — it’s in the middle of nowhere, not close to anything as advertised. The baby crib was also broken.
A classic hotel, spacious with very good facilities and well-maintained outdoor pool.
The pool hours are very limiting--from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Frustrating especially in the summer when the temperatures are very hot. There is an attendant/life guard who basically does nothing more than hand out towels (he also failed to notice what was certainly a non-guest intruder scoping out potential victims to rob poolside). The hotel is located a fair ways outside of the center of Rome and public transportation is cumbersome to say the least. If you're planning on using Midas as your base and traveling into the city every day, I'd definitely not stay there. Breakfast is served in a light and welcoming venue looking out to the pool, but the food and beverages were sub-par, the pastries were dreadful and the only redeeming item were the scrambled eggs (but just barely).
I didn’t like it.
I have stayed only one night and was glad to leave .Not clean . Breakfast was ok . Staff pleasant .Terrible noise of construction working right into the room.
I initially booked this hotel because I had visited a sister location in the Dominican Republic in the past. I loved how nice the hotel was. There was lemon and mint water upon arrival. The pool was very nice too. Public transportation was accessible. The price of our 3-night stay was good. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and polite.
The wifi did not work well in the room at all. I had to sit/stand close to the door to get a signal. Also, this place is not close to Rome. You will experience a 1-hour commute into town, which was not what we were looking for.
Staff very helpful. Hotel generally clean. Pretty pool area. Good breakfast with lots of variety.
Mold around bathtub. Difficult to get in/out of tub/shower. Have to squeeze between sink and partition that's supposed to keep floor dry when showering. Floor got soaked. Beds are creaky and pillows are hard. Not located near anything, so taxi required for travel. Can't just walk out the hotel door and stroll by shops or restaurants.
Good rooms, excellent breakfast.
Distance from central Rome, uncomfortable shower and no shampoo.
Breakfast was very nice.
No coffee in guest room. Bathroom was awkward and had mold in shower. No seating on balcony. No outgoing mail option. Luggage stand was falling apart. No do not disturb option.
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We booked a little out of town and the fare to go to the attractions was reasonable. Would recommend.
The food at the restaurant on the property was not good.
Literally nothing but the view
Staff are rude, every time I order anything from them they’re just like sorry we don’t have room services or it’s not operating, when I checked in they gave me a wrong key and I opened the door to a GIRL SLEEPING IN HER ROOM, then they changed the key and I didn’t feel safe then, and my key wasn’t opening the door the last night and I had to go downstairs so they can fix it, I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL THEY ARE A MESS, and their location is so far you need to walk 9 mins to the bus then head to Cornelia and then take the train which is so exhausting
Great meeting point for our Trafalgar tour. We arrived 2 days early. Very comfortable and helpful staff.
Location was not easy for walking to other services. Very surprising that we needed to pay extra to use the pool.
Breakfast was good. Room appeared clean.
Bathroom had holes in the walls, mildew in tub.
It was good. Jessica at the reception was perfect and almost there for everything we wanted.
The beds. The toilet was not full clean.
