    • Passable
    • Great location to the train station with lots of restaurant, shops on your door step. Friendly, helpful staff and 24 hour reception. The single bed was small but no sag or lumps. Temperature was perfect.
    • They were cleaning every day

    Cons -

    • There was a lot of noise in the morning and wifi wasn't that good. A bit expensive for the place
    • There was a lot of noise in the morning and wifi wasn't that good. A bit expensive for the place
    • Really my only complain was my room shared a wall with an another hotel stairs so the banging of doors and conversation noise was a lot. Once asleep this wasn't an issue though. The shower is tiny but the only hotel I stayed at that had a soap/shampoo caddy.

    They were cleaning every day

They charged us 60€ (30)€ per person for tourist something which I personally do not agree but what can we do I had fun i really enjoyed Italy and the Hotel was a 7/10

Hotel was faultless and next door to the train/bus and tram station, staff were polite and very trust worthy even let us leave our bags on the last day after check out

only downside was the homeless outside the train station and park near the top of the street but that is no way the hotels fault defo recommend and would reuse

    For all these reasons, I...

I did not enjoy my stay at Hotel Flavio at all, for several reasons:The photos posted did not reflect reality and gave me a misleading impression of the place. The room was very small and uncomfortable. The view from the room was unpleasant. The bathroom was so cramped that it was difficult to move around. The showerhead had only one setting, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable. The bed was too small and unstable, moving at the slightest motion. On top of all that, the price was far too high for the quality of the accommodation. Finally, the neighborhood where the hotel is located felt unsafe, especially at night. For all these reasons, I do not recommend this establishment.I do not recommend this establishment for several reasons: the room was uncomfortable and too small, the bed was narrow and unstable, the nightly rate was too high for the quality offered, and the location was not ideal.

I needed to stay just for a few hours at night as I had an early flight and came by train from another city. Hotel is very simple and small but clean. Welcoming staff.

I could hear everything from the neighbours as if they were in my room , I would like to never hear half of the sounds from them if you know what I mean.

Good location and spacious rooms with some kind of old fashion design and reception desk 24/7. Friendly personal

However, there is a lack of cleaning here. The towels were dirty and agglutinated... and some hairs all around, esp. in the bed...

The room was very clean! The hotel staff were so nice and held our luggage for us as we got there before the check in time (our room was actually finished early so we got in sooner) there’s two cafes right around the corner if you need to kill time. It was right next to the train station so not a bad walk at all and still a close enough walk to the attractions, about 20 minutes to the colosseum etc!

The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the reception staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Recommended to everyone.

The hot water is not hot enough when used.

Close to centrum and nice staff

Dirty bedsheets and towels. Toilet seat loose and AC was hot at 28C.

The staff was great and very friendly. The hotel was safe and secure. I like that they give you a key fob to enter the hotel from the street, very secure. I like to location because it was close to the train station our main means of transportation on this trip. Access to the train station was just down the street, at the other end of the street a nice park to enjoy our morning coffee.

Look we had no illusions , this is not our first trip to Italy, we knew that the room would be somewhat dated ( it is not a big chain hotel), BUT it was comfortable , clean and the air conditioning worked fine.

What a lovely little hotel, the staff were wonderful and the room was perfect for our short stay. The location was absolutely fine, it's within walking distance of a few main attractions and the metro is also nearby.

Mainly location else things were just normal.

Washrooms were really small. Little insight about my Room no. 10 was that the shower was not smooth instead it was very sharp and kinda piercing. No dental kit, I believe 3 stars give dental kit but I neither asked

The location so close to train station was amazing and also 20-30min walk to city center. The reception (two Iranian girls) were so warm and helpful.

Check out was at 11. And reception called 11:05 and said you have to leave and when we explained we were never in a hotel that we had to check out at 11 and they said its okay take your time. But cleaner every 5 minutes was knocking on the door and saying people are waiting with anger which was so annoying. Check in is at 2:00 where people were waiting we were not sure.

    Staff was helpful and co-ordial

Never seen such a small room ... and check-out was perfectly at 1100hrs .. no aircon in the reception too

    5RobertPosted on: 6-27-2024

It was a very basic hotel near the train station, The blowdryer did not work. The room was clean and served the purpose of having AC, and walking distance to train

    8FadiaPosted on: 6-27-2024

Great location. Close to main public transportation, both train and buses and the central Rome stations. Many restaurantes and stores walking distance. It was extremely clean despite the furniture and installations not being new. Staff was excellent

Some things are outdated. Just by doing a couple of simple and inexpensive updates, like the bed sheets, the lamps shades and/or the bathroom mirror , the rooms would do a great change and look more modern
