    Pros +

    • The bed, the vibe
    • Calm but well located, felt like being in a village but still in the city. Nice rooms and outside balcony
    • The location, the breakfast and staff

    Cons -

    • The towels smelled very bad and the robe
    • There is not enough towel rack in the bath room. During our stay, the subway is not working so getting around in the hot days is not so easy. In the room there is no clear instuction of what will be charged such as the drink in the refrigerator. Also, there is no pior notification that the hotel will be closed for one week so we can not storage the lauguage there the date when we checked out.
    • Although the look was nice, there wasn’t adequate lighting. There is zero sound proofing and you can hear everything going on in hotel. On top of that we had constant LOUD rattling water pipes that woke us up. I asked the staff and they said they would send maintenance but they never came or acknowledged us again. The staff is small and isn’t similar to hotel at all. Bar wasn’t open first night due to a call off. We were told when we got there we would have to wait until the next day to have our sofa bed made because there wasn’t actually a staff on location. Although breakfast is great, it’s a very small window. We arrived in that window and staff seemed uneager that it was close to closing time. Overall I was pretty disappointed.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. The facility is located in a nice and quiet area. The court yard is pretty. The breakfast is good qualify of food.

I loved the look and the size of room. The Ac worked great and the beds were comfortable.

Amazing location, really close to all the main tourist attractions such as the Colosseum. The staff were amazing and always willing to help.

The front door of my room unfortunately would always scrape along the ground as it would open.

I stayed here with my parents in a junior suite. It was very comfortable for the three of us. We loved the decoration and the colours. It felt calm and cosy. The beds and the pillows were very comfy. We had breakfast included, and it was so delicious and generous. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants, shops and public transport.

    In general, everything was good.

    Good

The walls are very thin …could hear everything… At night what other people are doing…. The music in hallways was to much for me, i wanted a quiet place…. In the pictures it looks better than in life.

Beautiful hotel , and beautiful room. My bed was supper comfortable, and everything was decorated so beautifully. The room had a had a nice clean esthetic which suited me. The added a nice touch with a little take away you can have when you depart. I would stay again

The noise from below does travel. The towels should be switched for a different material. I understand the sustainability aspect, but the towels should be rethought.

Quiet Location however the name of the hotel is misleading. I thought I was booking at another The Sanctuary which is in another part of rome. Nonetheless, it was a good stay.

The hotel is quiete obviously ripping off the other Sactuary's name and aesthetic to mislead people it it.

    Quiet location and friendly stuff.

Room was smaller than I expected.

The aesthetic of the hotel was lovely and very calm.

The rooms are not sound proof and the doors are very hard to close thus making it very loud and unpleasant in the evening. Also, we had booked 3 different rooms and three different categories, but two rooms seemed to be not as per the mentioned sizes (same rooms different prices).

Loved the staff!!! Loved the design. Will definitely come back!!!

The barmen couldn’t tell you the price if the drinks orders and even at the end of the night you don’t sign for it, you find out to upon check out. But not a biggie. Barmen were super friendly!!!

Location was good and room was clean.

We expected more. You need to pay extra for breakfast if you want something special. The glass between the room and bathroom was transparant. We expected a lot more from the hotel for that price for example coffee in the room, little snack, free printing,... the little extra's were missing that you expected for paying so much.

I like the emplacement. Outside the center. I like the decoration.

I thinks we was not in the better room. When someone close or open a door or was in the corridor the door of the room look we will be open. Insonorisation can be better.

First, staff was very accomodating. Always pleasant and helpful. Kitchen/food service staf was exceptional!! Always went the extra mile. We're vegetarian/vegan and even though there weren't specific items for us, the staff tried their very best to accommodate!! We were there for a concert, have been to Rome many times before, used to live in Italy. We chose the location based on the venue, which was Circo Massimo. Great location! 5 walking minutes to the venue.

The room itself. We had a junior suite, which was definitely adequate in size. However, several things could be improved upon. It appeared as if the drive to appear modern and hip outweighed basic comforts and conveniences. No storage whatsoever! Not a single drawer, never mind even a small wardrobe. Nothing! We stayed for 4 nights, so it would have been preferable not to live out of the suitcase. The rug in the living area was made of jute or similar material and it turned out to be a hazard. Tripped several times, fortunately did not fall. The bath towels and robes were made of line, which was quite nice, but again, no place to hang any of them. They were in a rattan box, and the housekeeping put in new sets every day (on the days they remembered to). This seems like a big waste of energy, especially for the robes. There was a small balcony (I get it, it's Rome) which was lovely, but only one chair. There was also a courtyard below, which was quite nice with lots of seating etc. Even had a bar. Unfortunately, this was never "open".

Incredibly stylish and cozy get away from busy rome, while being a walk away from the centre! The staff were tremendous - friendly, helpful and very professional.

There were some power sockets that came out the wall when using them, as well as flimsy toilet paper holders - though these are minor complaints and easy fixes.
