Pros +
- Very convenient location. Excellent breakfast.
- Breakfast starts at 7am and there are a lot of good choices. The hotel is about an 8 minute walk to the Colosseum. The front desk is always staffed and they are very helpful. There's a small elevator so you don't have to lug your heavy luggage around.
- great host/staffvery nice rooms with terrace and great view.walking distance to Colosium.great breakfast.good locationmany restaurants in area
Cons -
- Fairly small room.
- We reserved a triple, but it was really a double with a small cot so no nightstands and no outlets near beds. The room was slightly warm and it was too loud outside to keep the windows open. An overhead fan would have been helpful.
- The beds and pillows are too firm by American standards. The walls are “thin”. You can hear muted conversations from other rooms.

Location, Cleanliness, Staff, Breakfast, Charming older building and furniture.

Such a sweet little get away steps from St John the Lateran and the Holy Steps. Tucked in a quaint quiet neighborhood with a spectacular and non touristy view of the coliseum. It felt simply wonderful to stay here. Francesca at the front desk was so helpful. The room was perfect and the breakfast was delicious.
Everything was wonderful.
Wonderful location. Helpful staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. Wonderful to meet the owner at dinner.
It was charming and I felt at home.
Loud outside. The air conditioning or fan did not work.So to close the windows to keep the noise out it was stuffy and hot.The mattress needs a pillow top as the mattress was very hard.
Great location and staff was amazing, went out of there way to help me. As I had a motorized scooter.
Resturaunts close and good. Close to Coloseum and stores banks and transportatiin.
I liked that the bar was open 24 hours so I could have a glass of wine at 11pm and go to bed. It was in a quiet neighborhood 5 minute walk to the colosseum.
European hotels don’t have small hand towels but that everywhere.
Beautiful property , within walking distance of so many restaurants and city centre. Amazing complimentary breakfast!
Location was excellent (near the Colosseum), breakfast was very good and had a pretty wide variety of food, bartenders are great, room and hotel are quiet and comfortable, front desk staff are helpful and speak English well, front desk staff are available and you can store your bags.
The regular coffee wasn't very good and they wouldn't let you have any until official breakfast time. We prefer to have coffee early and then eat breakfast later. It would have been nice to have fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, and/or strawberries, etc) provided daily but they weren't available very often. We ended up buying our own.
Nice hotel Staff friendly and helpful Good to have shuttle to airport
The 1st room I got had very old air conditioner. They moved us upstairs for the night so they could check it out, next morning gave us a new room. Showers were tiny. Breakfast was so so ,no hot food.
Loved the architecture and the preserved antiquity. Beautiful! Took a glimpse back in time but with modern conveniences. Very clean. Slept with the windows open, astonished there were no flying insects anywhere. Felt very safe and comfortable. Walking distance to historical sites, restaurants and stores.
Great location close to the Colosseum and many nice restaurants. Very good breakfast was included.
This Hotel is like a little Gem!I would highly recommend it!Great location but away from all the touristy areas! The Breakfast is great with good choices! They also have a daily dinner special that you can sign up for which was excellent! We loved our stay and will definitely stay at the Hotel again when we come back to Rome.
Close to the Colosseum
AC want very cold
Location and on site parking
Breakfast selections could have included scrambled eggs
Loved the location for many of the things we wanted to see in Rome. Easy and fast access to Uber pickups on demand. Their laundry service is good. Price, for what we paid, seemed fair.
The air conditioning never worked, even above 24C in our room! We asked and were told it should turn on above 23C and it never did. The high humidity led to some uncomfortable nights. This forced us to sleep with our window open and surprise, guess what comes down the road every night? You get a visit from the recycling, general waste, or glass collection trucks between 2 and 4 am and they are noisy and will wake you up unless you are a very heavy sleeper.
Lovely clean room, hotel is in a great location easily walkable to the Colosseum. Breakfast was great too. Bar open 24 hrs for drinks, hot and cold. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Not much, just wish we’d had coffee and tea making facilities in the room, but this is probably common to many hotels in Italy. And drinks were available in the bar at any time.
