Hotel Ottaviano Augusto

It was not easy to find a room with 3 beds in Rome, as we were traveling with our 13 years old son, for a reasonable price. Ottaviano offered a very comfortable room, clean and spacious. Breakfast is great and offers variety of food (eggs, hotdogs, bruscettas, pancakes, sweets, pastry and excellent selection of coffee. It is few minutes walk to Vatikan and has good transportation connections to all around the city.

Apples that they kindly offer at reception were always green, maybe they could be red sometimes :)

Unfortunately the Room had not been clean correctly, their was a lot of noise coming from the hallways and the Breakfast was not according to the expactations

The rooms were small, cramped and the bed was not cozy. The bathroom was very small and did not have wash cloths. There was a foul odor in the hallway.

During our stay, they asked us to rate them 10 out of 10. However, we hadn’t even checked out yet and still had one more night to stay, so I felt like they were pushing us to give a perfect score. Dinner in the restaurant was average; the pasta was too salty, and the cutlery was always a bit dirty.

There was a cut of electricity at the hotel in the evening, they told us it will be fixed in 10 min but we stayed all night long without air condition or electricity in the hotel till we checked out next day..

I booked a room with 1 queen and 1 double but got a room with 3 double beds. And it was a handicap room. Not a lot of space to walk around in the room

Amazing property. Very close to Vatican City. The front desk staff were the best. Great breakfast. They also made us a take away breakfast form our early train ride. Will book again.

The hotels location was close to many activities. The staff was excellent. Room space was well appointed for my family of 5.

It was far from a lot which we didn’t realize. We were overcharged for dinner in the dining room by a lot. The air didn’t work unless you left the key in the slot. Air was not great during a heatwave. Power went out and air didn’t work after that. It’s definetly not worth the price they charge.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I ever had. They really made me enjoy my stay and are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of foods to choose from. The room was great, with a comfortable bed and basically everything you need. For my work stay the location was superb, and there was loads of choices for food places. I will definitely be back next time I have a work trip in Rome.

Nothing really, the hotel exceeds expectations for the price you pay and the location you get.
