Pros +
- Very nice facility. Absolutely first class and Marco and the staff were just great. I've been to Rome many times and this is by far the nicest hotel. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone.
- The welcome was very warm and friendly, with our luggage stored until check-in time. The room was very clean. The breakfast was more than decent and at the rooftop terrace, offering amazing views albeit with chilly temperatures in February. The beds and bathrooms were quite comfortable. The rooms are stylishly furbished. The location is great, very near must-see locations such as the Pantheon and Piazza Navona while also close to a variety of restaurants. Public transports is very easily reachable.
- I stayed in this hotel for the second time. And I love having breakfast outside with a view to Roma!
Cons -
- I stayed at the hotel in mid-February, with outside temperatures of around 10-15°C. Still the room was very hot, around 23-25°C. The A/C did not provide cooling. Upon contacting the reception, I was told that the A/C could only provide heating since it was wintertime. I was offered a fan as alternative, but found it unsatisfactory. I ended up leaving the window ajar to have some cool air, but this led to unwanted noise. On a minor note, the "classic" room was surprisingly cramped. Even looking back, the online pictures don't convey the true story. Although in fairness, the room surface area of 16 m² is correctly shown on the booking page.
- I cannot think of anything ☺️
- Room was tiny, it had no wardrobe and no space to put our bags. Room was too hot, we called the front desk many times and their answer was open the window

Such a great service, very clean, and the small attention at night with the chocolate on the pillow was very much appreciated. The staff from the bar also remembered us the second evening we came to have a drink, they were so kind and helpful. The breakfast staff was also very nice and accommodating. Thank you !

Location, the room, rooftop bar. Great breakfast
High quality interior and bedrooms. Beautiful roof top view from restaurant and very nice breakfast.
The location was perfect, the breakfast was great
Room was tiny, it had no wardrobe and no space to put our bags. Room was too hot, we called the front desk many times and their answer was open the window
Very nice hotel situated in the middle of the city. Really great position. You don’t need public transport. All sightseeing is affordable by foot. Hotel equipment is inspired by luxury watches ( Rolex, Patek Philippe, AP) - wonderful for watch enthusiasts. The breakfast is very good and served in the 5th floor with a stunning view of the city. The room and bathroom is not so spacious but clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly.
Cleanliness, location, beds
Very slow and only one elevator (at the same time also service elevator); staff could be more attentive and also smile more (also at breakfast)
Location was key for limited stay and Hotel L’Orologio did not disappoint!!! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful!! They offered to speak Italian with us during our stay so we could practice!!! It was a perfect stay at the end our Tuscany travels, flying out of Rome. We can’t wait to make Hotel L’Orologio our home base for visiting Lazio!!!
Staff friendly, hotel comfortable , great location.
Breakfast - Could have had more hot options Coffee / tea machine would be better than asking staff each time.
Amost everything, from accessibility, to safety, to the staff. I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, which serves special cocktails and delicately crafted bar snacks. Great job!
The view of the room is quite limited, but not much to complain as we spent most of the time out on the streets.
Excellent hotel right in the center of Rome. The rooms were spotless and decorated to a very high standard. The staff were kind, helpful, and always available. Breakfast was without a doubt the highlight of the hotel – served on a terrace with breathtaking views of the city, and the food itself was excellent. Highly recommended!
The rooms are a bit on the small side – though this wasn’t really against expectations, as it’s the city center after all, but still worth noting. Also, there is only one elevator, which is quite small and used by both guests and staff. This means it can get crowded in the mornings, as it also leads to the rooftop where breakfast is served.
Great location with great amenities. There was great access to all parts of Rome. The best part was waking up every morning and eating breakfast at the rooftop restaurant.
Very well positioned. Beautiful lodgings which is difficult to find in Rome.Very well positioned. Very helpful staff

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff was great and the breakfast is amazing. The rooftop view is so lovely and the room is full of beautiful decor details in the theme of the hotel. Lovely.
Fabulous location, within easy walking distance of major sights. The rooftop bar was glorious and breakfast up there was absolutely fantastic. This is a great find - I don't really want to tell too many people about it!
My room was a bit dark as it was an internal room
Location was perfect. Lily and Marco at the reception were exceptionally helpful and caring. Breakfast on the rooftop had a good variety and staff quite friendly.
Fantastic location. Decor was lovely and room was great but slightly on the small side but for city hotel was more than enough for what we needed. The staff are a credit to the hotel with special mention of Marco on reception who was very helpful and always very attentive and friendly. Thank you for a great first stay in Rome. Would definitely recommend.
Small breakfast but enough for what we needed. Small pool would be great but doesn’t seem to be a thing in Rome.
I loved the breakfast and aperitivo hour on the rooftop. The bar staff were friendly and attentive, as were the reception staff. The robes, slippers and evening turn down service were a wonderful addition and something I value highly in my hotel stays. The location was fantastic too, walking distance to The Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and SUPER close to Campo Di Fiori.
The only thing I could say I disliked was the size of the rooms- there wasn’t enough floor space to lay a suitcase down and even with the suitcase stand thing, I couldn’t leave my suitcase open on it because the space was too small. But it was a small price to pay for how fantastic everything else was.
