Pros +
- Everything waas perfect ! People were so kind and helpful !
- The Continental style Breakfast was well done with good options of fruit, breads, cereals, yogurts and good coffee.
- Amazing value for money, quite central, 25 mins walk from the Colosseum. The room was simple but very comfortable and for this money - amazing! Good breakfast
Cons -
- I only wish they had gluten free bread.
- It’s not 24/7 reception - the check-in is until 21 onyly so it’s a no-go for the late flights. For that reason I stayed in another place for my first part ofthe Rome trip and moved to Casa SG only later.
- I knew the hotel was not in the historic center when I made the reservation. That was both good and bad. The metro was a 15 minute walk. There are many bus stops nearby and we used the buses often. There is also a taxi stand about 3 blocks away. The added time for transportation made the days longer and more tiring.

I was really looking for a calm port after a sea of travels, and the quiet and professionalism of the staff was great. The bed was extremely comfortable while giving firm support, and the cleanliness was next level.
1. Super clean. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job 2. Staff were friendly, efficient, helpful The breakfast attendant managed to keep the buffet full, the tables cleared and clean, and the dishes washed.3. The rooms were thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage. Extra pillows and blankets were in the room.4. The hotel is in a convent and the other travelers were generally quiet and respectful. There is a chapel in another part of the building and I heard a tour group singing one evening. Nice.5. WIFI was strong. 6. This hotel is in a residential part of Rome. There were grocery stores, small cafes, local businesses, a few restaurants.I would definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. It is quite close to the train station, though you do have to walk a bit to reach the main tourist attractions.A major benefit was the very early check-in, which is available from 11:00 AM. I arrived at 12:00 PM, and my room was already prepared. The room itself was quite spacious, though simple. It was equipped with a kettle and a refrigerator. The hotel staff is very pleasant and communicates well. The breakfast was good: it included unlimited coffee, water, and juice, as well as eggs, fruits, yogurts, and sweets.
The property was so spacious and clean and in a great location. We loved sitting on the balcony every morning and every night and the host was great at communicating!
Very unique experience with a chapel inside and seeing sisters inside. Professional and courteous service. Breakfast was good. Room was made clean meticulously. View from the room was nice. Room was big and everything was working great.
Old lift was small but very interesting but needs a bigger one. One time the toilet paper was not replaced. A pair of slippers would be greatly appreciated. Needs ironing board and an iron.
Spacious rooms, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast selection. Friendly reception.
The mattress was kind of hard.
It was immaculate and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good.
Cleanliness. Breakfast included. Breakfast to go delivered to the home because of very early flight. Front desk arranged for transportation.
The hotel was difficult to find. The room was in a remote location .The room lighting was bizarre and cold. The room felt more like a cell than a hotel room.
Friendly staff, good location
The room was somewhat noisy at night, which disturbed my sleep. The shower cabin was quite small, and the breakfast selection was limited. It would be great to have more fruit, scrambled eggs, and other hot options available
The reception was good, the breakfast was good room very clean. Safety was good
Everything basically
Very clean, calm, near metro station and good pubs/restaurants in a really residential neighborhood. The whole staff was great!
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Nearby convenience stores, restaurants, bus transportation and cost make it ideal for a week in Rome.
100% satisfied!!!
I've had a very enjoyable and relaxing time at Casa San Giuseppe (CSG) thanks to an exceptional service throughout my short stay. Could not have been happier with the staff members at CSG, its location, breakfast, A/C, and every practical aspect of their customer care. I highly recommend it.
It was safe and comfortable, the location was good, and it was clean. The room was tidied up every day
It would have been great if they had provided daily tea, coffee, cups, and shampoo in the room.
The breakfast was great ! Not a traditional American or English but it had boiled eggs, ham and cheese pie, fruit, desserts, juices, coffees and a lot more. They allowed me to leave my luggage at 7.00am as I had a Vatican tour at 8.30. Only tiny issue I felt was that the luggage room did not have a locked door but my stuff was fine. The hotel is a part of an active convent, I believe, so it was very secure and calm, which I appreciated as a single traveler. The room was clean and restful. The bed was very comfortable, with pristine white sheets; and the bathroom was also nice. There was AC, a small Fridge and a safe. Nothing to not like.
The location for me was slightly less than ideal because it is in a residential area and to go anywhere, first you get a bus to the subway and then onwards. However, the bus-stop was quite close and travel was easily manageable.
Everything from this hotel is perfect! Friendly, clean, with a great location and safe.
Nothing! All just too perfect!
