Very clean and comfortable room and great terrace and restaurant. The staff were also very friendly, we got great recommendations for sightseeing and a restaurant.
In a calm neighborhood, so that most restaurants in the area are closed during August (however, it is well connected to the center via metro).

The staff
I booked 2 rooms, and they gave us one is the smallest room on the floor and the other one which is the only room without a balcony on the floor!Even though the hotel was not even half full. The rooms are way different than in the picture.I noticed some stains on one of the fresh towels, which was very upsetting.
The room was just like pictures. The jacuzzi on the terrace was perfect. The breakfast was plenty of everything. The main restaurant in the evening was very good. Also bed comfortable and even you get a bag with beach towel and pillow for the terrace. So I totally recommend this hotel.PS. I have seen other reviews that were bad. I was afraid that's the case but these reviews were wrong. Everything it's just fine.
Very bad hotel
This hotel , is a scam . The rooms are no like the pictures no view , no nice at all , the air condicional was no proper good , was dirty , and really bad service , far from the city really bad decision
Great rooms, beds, bathrooms. Friendly staff, good food for breakfast and dinner. Very comfortable outdoor space for dinner and drinks.
I liked everything.
Terrible customer service.
- Wifi extremely slow, wasn’t even able to use it. - Filthy/ extremely dirty terrace (we booked room with hot tub). - Housekeeping never replaced toiletries during our 5 nights stay. - One of the nights our AC stopped working during 35 degree hot day and the manager suggested we open the window as they can not do anything else. are you kidding me? - Extremely poor customer service from the front desk/ manager. This hotel should NOT be 4 starts. Overall I do not recommend this place.
Honestly, this hotel was one of the best choices I have ever made in my life. Here are the reasons:-the location was really good. The neighborhood Trieste is a gorgeous, quite district, with cute cafes and restaurants. The hotel was a 5-10 minutes walk away from the nearest metro station. Besides the metro line B1, there were plenty bus lines as well.-The room was stunning. We stayed on the 6th floor, and the view from the balcony was breath-taking. Everything was clean and organized.-The staff was absolutely wonderful, really. I want to give a special thanks to Andrea and Arianna from the reception, who helped us out multiple times. They helped us get around the city and gave us tips from their point of view as locals. The other staff members were very welcoming and made us feel at home. -We ate breakfast at the hotel for 15€/person, and it was worth every cent to be honest. The selection of food and drink was exceptional, and there were even vegan options. They made sure we got some plant milk for our coffees, when we asked for it.
There was no real complaint that I could mention here.
The staff were lovely and fulfilled our needs immediately every slngle time. The room was clean. The complimentary drinks in fridge were nice. The location was average - 55 min walk to Piazza Poppolo, 10 minute walk to the metro station.
The room was very small though we stayed in an upgraded room. We could hardly move and had very little space for luggage. There was not a luggage rack either and I am not a fan of emptying the whole luggage into the wardrobe. The towels were weary and very thin. The shower window was weird, impossible to keep water going out. The room was old and needs renovation.
Nice interior decoration in the room; it’s very spacious and clean. The attendant who checked us in (I’m guessing he was the manager) was very helpful and showed us around the facilities and even showed us how to get around and what to see in Rome without even asking so we were very grateful (free drinks vouchers too!). Only a couple of unpleasantries.
Quite a distance away from the main city but easy to get to via buses or metro. We wanted to get a drink at the bar after coming back from the main city but we were immediately told off that we can’t eat ‘outside’ food in the restaurant area as soon as I ONLY placed my takeaway container on the table just to look for my wallet in my bag. We assured him we weren’t going to eat, we were only there to drink but the bar staff insisted on asking his manager if we can eat our takeaway food there or notBreakfast options were great but again, the staff weren’t too welcoming after I politely asked if we could eat outside as there was no room. Instead, there was an exasperated response and it sounded like a huge bother if we sat outside as the waiter had to apparently clean the tables still.
The hotel is in a quiet area of Rome, the breakfast was very good
I reserved a twin room and they gave me a double because the hotel was fully booked(I mare the reservation 3 months before).
DO NOT STAY AT MERCURE ROME
There was a linen towel at the wash basin and when I washed my face I went to dry it and the towel had blood on it. It was a bit late so I took a picture, I was disgusted with the filth, I didn't use the cups or glasses because who knows if they were clean. Absolutely disgusting and it totally ruined my stay.I have posted it on my social media because they offered me a 20 per cent refund.I refuse such a miserly sum as compensation for the filth I endured.
New, good position
Too hot at night, bad sleep
Rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and it had a cozy feel about it. Metro is a short walk away so even though you aren’t central it is very easy to get around.
Our hot tub didn’t stay full so needed topping up after an hour or so. Didn’t try the restaurant so can’t comment on that.
Breakfast was reasonable for a buffet.
Meat & eggs were cold if you were not there when dished up
Location was excellent and close to the Meteo
Stay was pleasant but surprised on the last day my wife and I were asked at breakfast for our room number 5 times….
