Pros +
- Location
- Location was very good. Beds were hard, linen clean, mattress were dirty.Pillows were stained and disgusting. Cups for coffee machine not replaced. Aircon/heating only worked on half the room, two beds in the annex area were frozen and never got heat. No fire/smoke alarm in room or in any part of the exit/entrance of the building. Poor or no lighting in the steep stairs to get in and out of room. No emergency lighting. Wouldn't call this a hotel, just a room at the top of a building. Very disappointing.
- Fantastic location. Great for walking around. Kind staff.
Cons -
- STAY HERE IF YOU WANT A ROOM WITH BLACK MOLD AND FILTHY SHOWER. There was black mold growing on the air conditioner and grimy yellow build up in the shower. We attempted to get refunded for our five nheight stay and the hotel refused.
- Room had an unpleasant smell, likely from bathroom pipes but the place was very clean.
- The room was tight (unnecessary furniture) and the balcony was expected to be private although had a shared window with another room. There is also no elevator which was inconvenient

Hotel Domus Tiberius couldn't be in a more perfect location. It is in close walking distance to all the sites, think the Pantheon, but is tucked away in Trastevere. The staff was helpful with check-in, yet we appreciated the tucked away nature of the different rooms.

Location was good and central. Room was fairly clean.
1. We arrived after dark and was directed via Whatsapp to use entrance (totally different from Booking.com) with a passcode. But this entrance was in complete darkness, very difficult to find. When we finally opened the entrance, the inside including stairs were completely dark, and we had to use our phone lights. The keypad to our room kept showing 'LOW BATTERY' and opened only after many attempts. We Whatspp owner but received no response. 2. The Quadruple room was divided into 2 split rooms. Only main room from entrance has a heater, leaving the other room very cold!3. The shower head was leaking badly.
It was perfect, well located, clean and beautiful — Thank you for the upgrade!
Fresh towels every day if requested. Cleaning lady did the bed and took out the trash every day. The location is great in a beautiful neighborhood. The bed was good enough. The wifi was serviceable except for one night.
Bathroom ceiling was moldy. Indeed, the room was extremely humid so we had to run the dehumidifier non-stop while we were in the room. When it rained, the room smelled like sewage. It took a while for anyone to do our check-in.
Customer service was exceptional. Bed was extremely comfortable. Location was amazing.
Room was really small and the car service the hotel arranged was very late picking us up from the airport and bailed on taking us back to the airport. However, the hotel manager was really helpful in figuring out a solution.
Everything is walkable from here. Even the Vatican if you're up for it.It is very close to the electric trams and bus stations, which made it easy to get to from the airportWe felt comfortable leaving our bags before checking in. They brought them up to the room
This is a more trendy area than expected. Beware of restaurants that secretly have the exact same menu. We went to Tonorello and enjoyed our meal. Later we went to Nannarella and the menu was 100% the same down to the fontThe AC was a bit hard to figure out, but staff was able to helpThere was no curtain in the bathroom. The room was higher than most surrounding buildings, but was still unnerving
the customer service by Lorenzo and team was incredible, the room was clean, the bathroom was tight but renovated and modern with a bidet. The location of trastevere was just perfect for tourists
hard to not like something in an exceptional experience
Good location, calm and quiet. Nice with breakfast around the corner. The shower was a bit small for a person of my size, but I did not want to put it in. "Not like" area.
Great location, very welcoming staff (they were extremely gracious regarding an early check-in). My room had a really nice shower.
Worst place to stay in Roma
Internet didn’t work.A lot of stairs, even inside the room.Coffee machine was extremely dirty.Bad shower, when open the shower the water goes all over the bathroom. Dirty balcony.Bad mattress and pillow. And the worst of all were the staff. Never seen a so bad hotel staff. Rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.
The location was great. Everything but the Vatican was within a 30 minute walk. It's near a bus stop, but we found that walking was often faster. It's in a very cute area wit ha restaurant around the corner.
The apartment was smaller than I expected. The front door doesn't seem very secure, but the neighborhood felt safe. I messaged the hotel through booking.com to notify them that our flight was cancelled and I had to rebook for a later one and requested airport pick-up, but they never responded. It took multiple calls and texts via whatsapp after our arrival to receive a response for check-in procedures.
Beautiful spot in a great location! The staff were super helpful and friendly, I had a small individual room with a beautiful view.
The walls are very thin so you hear everything going on in the rooms nearby. It also didn’t have much storage.
I loved the area, everything was within walking distance. The private apartment was very cute. And everything worked.
Is good, for a couple of days.the bed was kind of hard and, there is a lot humidity, I guess is because is a very old building.
Older section of town, alot of charm, Very close to everything, Very old building which added to the charm.
Shower incredibility small. Definitely need to add a grab bar or two as the floor is slippery. The shower door would not close, poor design. No safe in the room. Maybe add a tiny bucket or shelf to place the soap on. Impossible to place on the floor as it was impossible to bend over. Too small. Heat worked until 12 midnite and shut off so it is cold at night.
This hotel is in an EXCELLENT location, walkable to most of the main attractions. Lorenzo was super kind and helpful. He welcomed us and gave us great information. The room is tiny, however, the AC is excellent and the shower water pressure is super! My husband and I loved it. It is in the heart of Trastevere. Grazie, Lorenzo!
Everything was super clean and tidy, and the staff was super nice!
Maybe the only thing to mention was the mattress, it was was to soft and not very comfortable to sleep on.
