Pros +
- Great location.Comfy, simple room and bathroom.
- The room was spacious and had all the essentials. There was also a good coffee machine available in the common area. The lighting was good and cozy.
- Very enjoyable stay for three nights. Very central to all the tourist attractions in Rome. Room has everything you would want it to and clean.
Cons -
- On two occasions the paper coffee cups leaked at the side seal and spilled water. The bathroom felt a bit small compared with the otherwise generous size of the room.
- Room was way too small and stuffy, we were instructed to pick up our keys and let ourselves in, but actually we encountered a room that was not yet cleaned. The whole apartment (because to call it a hotel is a stretch) was overly perfumed with stacks of laundry lying around the lobby and blocking guest’s passage. We never encountered a concierge in all of our time there. Also, we left our luggage in the lobby both at entry and at the end and anyone who had the building entrance code could access the lobby which did not make it feel secure as a place to store one’s luggage.
- Being tired on arrival about 9pm after a twelve hour train journey from Agrigento in Sicily I had some trouble locating the hotel, and it would have been nice to have been able to make a hot drink on arrival, but as there were no staff present, the presence of the kettle was not apparent until I was shown it the next day. There was no knife or bottle opener available which made eating in the room more difficult.

Location was convenient due to easy bus and train connections. The neighborhood itself was not particularly nice.

It was good having a small dining table in the room. It was reasonably quiet bearing in mind it was in a big city and a large block. Eventually I found there was a kettle available. Convenient for both Roma termini station and buses for the airport.

The hotel is easy to find, easy to access. Staff are not present 24/7, but courteous and helpful when they are present, The room is comfortable, the bathroom is ensuite and quite large. The hotel is well placed for the metro and buses for exploring Rome.
Close to the central train station made transit easy to get to.
No window view from the room I was in, no staff to interact with.
We wanted to stay close to the train station so it was easy on the day of our departure and it was a short walk away. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a lot of space within the room. The windows were very sound proof, which was great being in a city. The lobby was very cute and charming. While we did not interact with the hotel staff in person, they were very kind a responsive through message/e-mail.
Very convenient area for those who arrive to Termini. All the most famous sights are reachable by foot if you like walking. The room was cozy, light and clean, I had everything that I needed including coffee and tee for free on the reception. Administrator and stuff were nice and friendly.
The staff were very kind. Very convenient to Roma Termini! Good location to walk to all the main sites.
No refrigerator in the room. As a solo traveler, I don't feel comfortable walking around at night, so a refrigerator would have been nice.
good location. close to termini station also has a local street market nearby. Has a coffee machine making excellent coffee.
The size of beds is small. But the noise from upstairs at night are troublesome the most. Moving their furniture every night?
Good location near Termini station so easy access to metro and trains. Even the tourist sites can easily be reached by walking. Friendly staff and good service. The check in by code allows check in at any hour. Surpassed my expectations.
The isolation of the room isn't that good so it could be a bit noisy. I was lucky to have good neighbours during the week.
Hotel proche à la gare terminiCheck in and check outThe receptionist
The hotel was really overpriced for what it offered. The room furniture was of very poor quality and extremely old. The bedside tables looked like they had been repainted, and there was only a small table with one chair — very basic and cheap. There was no kettle or minibar in the room. Overall, it didn’t match the price at all.

The location was nice and quiet and in walking distance from the train station. The interior is very cozy and beautiful. There is a coffee machine and kettle with several different types of tea to choose from. The check in process was simple and Vito from the reception desk was very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was a bit small and it smelled a bit in the entrance of the building, but the hotel wich is located on the 3rd floor smelled very pleasant.
It was clean and nice staff good location for walk
Nice location, good space in the room.
Dim lighting made getting ready more difficult but that’s very minor.
I had a wonderful time at Hotel Cathrine. The best part of this hotel is the location. I would say if you are a solo traveler, like me or as in a group, for both cases, this would be a perfect place to stay. The place is really cozy and always clean. The check-in and out processes are very simple and convenient. It's literally no hassle at all. I had the oppressive to meet Lorenzo. Super nice guy. Most of the attractions are nearby. You can walk around and enjoy the time. The Termini station, which is one of the biggest stations in Rome, is just 7 mins away. I'm happy to stay here, and hopefully, I will be here again next time.

Excellent Location. Easy check in checkout. All electronic. Very responsive via WhatsApp. Elevator was small but worked.
Very compact bathroom and shower. However it was clean and good pressure of hot and cold water.
