- It was the most aesthetically pleasing hotel I¿ve ever been in. The staff and food were great. Everyone went above and beyond. For example, I needed to bring a walker due to recent surgery and they had ramps built over any stairs I¿d need to go up!
- Perfect location in town, was able to walk around, eat and drink and not have to drive anywhere.
- Room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were awesome.

- Everything was great!! Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect location in town, was able to walk around, eat and drink and not have to drive anywhere.

Room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were awesome.
This hotel was AMAZING! We stayed in 5 hotels in our time in Italy, all nice, but this was the number one by far! Everything from staff, room, bed, decor, breakfast, roof top bar, was absolutely wonderful!!
Everything was great!! Would recommend to anyone.

Housekeeping was horrible

Loved the style, customer service, and overall experience. The pool was great for my kids and the restaurant was delicious! The location was right by a bus and metro stop and close to the Vatican!
Our room had a funky smell several nights.
The whole “Mama loves you” concept is super fun and cozy. Great beds, great location, very good breakfast
Its a nice property, feels modern and nice. Staff are nice. Breakfast is buffet style and nice, 21 euros per person. Carrefour 24/7 very close. Close to metro. Nice balcony
Bed wasnt comfortable so they added a mattress topper which unfortunately had bed bugs! Pillows are extra soft and they didn’t have firmer ones. Its not very central.
The staff went out of their way to help and make our stay great. The location was also ideal to get into the city centre via the metro. Recommend!
Clean rooms, very spacious, also very big bathroom. Very friendly people at the front desk; available 24/7. There is a nice relaxing area as well. And they have two restaurants at the hotel as well, which is very convenient.
the reservation of the wellness makes it not that flexible. I would have liked that to be different. The restaurants were quite pricey for the quality of the food. Not bad, but also not great.
I liked the location, kind staff and readiness to assist. I will choose the same place again for sure. Greetings from Montenegro.
No such thing.
Great location, comfortable bed
While the hotel’s concept and atmosphere are clearly designed to be lively and social, the level of noise each night was excessively loud and significantly disruptive. Music and party noise continued well into the late hours, making it extremely difficult to rest. The designated quiet time of 12:00 midnight is simply too late for guests who are staying at the hotel for relaxation, sightseeing, or business purposes. It felt as though the hotel prioritized nightlife and party activities over the comfort and well-being of its overnight guests. Unfortunately, this lack of balance between entertainment and guest comfort negatively impacted the quality of my stay and did not align with the expectations of a hotel experience.I believe Mama Shelter would greatly benefit from reconsidering its noise policies, enforcing earlier quiet hours, or offering better soundproofing or guest accommodations to ensure a restful environment for all guests.I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it affected not only my experience but could also impact future guests seeking comfort and rest during their stay in Rome.Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.
Location & room
Lack of shampoo in the bathroom, the ones are not foamy. Better bring your own.Breakfast is ok, staff is busy, struggle to get a cappucino.
A fairly new hotel, all the infrastructure is in excellent condition, everything is clean and cozy, a large and spacious family room, thick and large towels. A service team that is always ready to help. A surprisingly good breakfast (compared to Rome) - lots of fresh vegetables, fresh healthy juices, a variety of cheeses and cold cuts, several hot dishes, a variety of fruits, cakes and desserts, including solutions for those sensitive to lactose or gluten. Small indoor swimming pool and 2 saunas. Metro station (Cipro) near the hotel.
The hotel is almost always fully booked. A lot of tourists, like all of Rome. The lobby and pool are less crowded, but sometimes in the morning there is a crazy rush when the dining room opens. Also, some of the breads at breakfast were consistently dry and not fresh (lucky there is a toaster).
Fun, quirky decor, super friendly staff.
Pool was very small and needed to be booked, but it wasn’t supervised so people would just turn up without bookings and it could get too crowded.
This is a fun hotel. I've stayed in a variety of hotels throughout Rome but this has a fun vibe to it. It's located in a residential area but the metro is a 3min walk away, allowing you to get to the ancient side of room in less than 10minutes.
The lighting in the room could be better. Women need light especially when trying to apply make-up.
Location is great. Rooms are large and properly designed.
Breakfast was a little poor.
Mattress is comfy
4 star hotel but doesn’t provide slippers. They charge 12 eur for slippers. For shower they don’t have one soap bar for hair face and body.
The room was clean, bedding was nice, staff were very helpful
