- The location
- Reasonably handy to Vatican and restaurants.
- This was our 4th stay here - the location is great, 10 minutes walk to the vatican, metro stop 5 minutes walk away and lots of shops and bars in the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable and perfect for a short break. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Cons -
- Misinformed in advance about assistance with ticket sales. Staff was not helpful and would not call a taxi. Room was not cleaned daily and was not stocked for the entire stay. I requested spa services was told they would get back to me and they didn¿t
- Poky room with a difficult shower to regulate. Room was too small for a couple to share and nowhere to open cases!!!! Strange entrance made finding it difficult.
- construction noise in another part of the building started at 8am every morning - obviously wont happen all the time but just when you wanted a lie in ........

Prati is a very nice neighborhood. Not many tourists a nice code place right over the street and some nice restaurants around. We got new towels and a clean room every day and a free bottle of wine.
The room was to the inner courtyard with all the air conditioning. One was right below our window and was making noise all the time. So no sleeping with open window possible. The room was ok, but had some opening in the floor from what I got a splinter in my foot…All that was no real problem in the end, but the pictures suggested something a bit nicer.
Close to sightseeing
No kettle or microwave to warm kids milk
Great location, very clean, all the Staff are very friendly and kind
All Good!!
It was in the centre and was easy accessible to all restaurants and sightseeing
The lift was a bit tricky as it was narrow
The location was great - just a 6 minute walk to Lepanto metro station. And once you're on the metro you can just about get anywhere quickly. We also did alot of walking and really enjoyed the local restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The staff were great. A special shout out to Simone on the front desk - a wonderful young man who seemed keen to make sure we made the best of our stay.

The hotel is situated in a good location and feels secure. Staff were communicative and accommodating during our stay. Rooms were stylish and comfortable. Appreciated the staff allowing us to store our luggage prior to check-in and move our things to our room so that they were already in there when we arrived later at the hotel. A lift in the building was great, as it is uncommon in Italy.
We encountered a couple of issues during our stay. Firstly, our shower head was broken, as well our window and hairdryer. I asked the staff to contact maintenance, however, they were unsuccessful. I then requested a room change, which they accepted. We had to return to our old room while out exploring Rome to re-pack all our things, which was a nuisance. The staff did bring our packed luggage to our new room at least, which was appreciated. New room had working facilities however it was much smaller than the first room and we were surprised to be downgraded as opposed to upgraded for the inconveniences caused to us. We were so tired at the stage that we couldn’t bear the idea of moving again, so just stuck with it. Shower still wasn’t to our liking as I never got hot water (only lukewarm at best), which was disappointing for the price we paid for our 3 night stay. We visited the UK, France and other parts of Italy prior and never encountered an issue with something that is such a common necessity in a hotel, which was frustrating. Bed was tiny; 2 singles pushed together, so my 6 foot + husband’s feet were hanging over the edge. Even mine were, and I’m very short! Bed in new room was much better, despite the fact we were downgraded to a much smaller room. Hairdryer didn’t work again in new room. There are no coffee or tea offerings in the room, which was strange and also the first hotel that didn’t offer this very common luxury. The noise from the internal corridors is extremely audible- we were woken up by loud Italians all throughout the evening and early in the morning. Also had no idea the hotel was located on the 3rd floor- had to ask the staff via WhatsApp while attempting to carry our luggage up a 6 storey building! Overall, an okay stay but not the best value for money. We wouldn’t return or recommend.
The staff are nice and helpful
Th shower heater change to cold suddenly
Person on the desk when we arrived was very helpful. They had restaurant recommendations available. He used a city map to show us places to visit. Bed was comfortable. Nice updated shower.
It met our needs perfectly, so nothing to say.
Very centrally located, close to Metro station, Vatican and public amenities. Room was clean and practical. You can enter anytime , even when reception is closed.
Room was a bit tight when 2 people are getting ready. The window opens inside the building with dozens of other windows. Not a pleasant view, so we kept the curtains close the entire time.
Fairly modern and easy to find
Walls are thin, shower wasn’t working properly and took a long time to get warm. The room was cleaned and the door was left unlocked meaning all of our possessions were left unsecured
Location and service are excellent
The hotel is located at 3 rd floor. Lots of stairs if you want to avoid a very old elevator (almost an antiquity)
It was very clean, accessible and safe
Fantastic location close to all amenities and food and shopping. Easy to walk everyday.
A little bit of noisy traffic but that's about all.
Clean and quiet place in the middle of Trevi. Convenient location close to the Vatican city, with restaurant on the ground floor, and shops.
Location is ok.
First of all this is not a hotel and should never be called Hotel Roma Vaticano. This are rooms and not more. I have booked and payed 20m2 big room as I need more room for luggage. They gave me a room of max 13m2 including bathroom. Impossible to move around the room with 4 bags and two persons. After my complaint, they apologized but they had no bigger room as they were fully booked. So you pay 20m2 and for same money you get 13m2. Good for them bad for me. No compensation offered not other solutions.Windows of the room were facing inner courtyard where all air conditioners are hanging and some big chillers as well. For all the building of course. It’s impossible to sleep with windows closed, don’t even think to open them. Had no sleep at all and sometimes I felt building is preparing to take off due to all the crazy noise.Crazy! Not to mention broken shower and strange smell in the room.
No breakfast, king size bed, large bathroom, great location
Bed was not very comfortable, could feel the springs, shower didn’t work well, elevator was so tiny!
The location is very good.
The room is very small. There’s no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. Our room was near the reception and we heard every guest checking in and out, all the talking, even the sound of the buttons on the machine and talking on the telephone. It was very irritating in the morning.
