Pros +
- The location, near a pharmacy, cafe, and 15 min from most important areas.
- Front desk staff and cleaning staff were excellent. Walking distance from the hotel to the activities we wanted to do was quite reasonable...if only the heat had cooperated.
- Staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we had questions. Hotel was only an 6 minute walk from the train terminal and easy to find. We loved staying here
Cons -
- Matress are not the best.
- Too few breakfast options & new pastries on our first day were being served 3 days later. Cold milk was warm. Most breakfast room staff rushed everyone & were quite abrupt. Would only give 1 room card, it also controlled air conditioning so room was hot.
- The AC seemed to shut off in the middle of night and it would get hot.

The AC seemed to shut off in the middle of night and it would get hot.
Hotel and room was clean. Nice staff. Good location . The plug in the bathroom was accommodating to various plugs (ie: USA, EU, etc)
The room could use a mirror in the room (in addition to the one in the bathroom). The temperature for the shower was a little difficult to adjust.
Location
The room is dirty. We found a cockroach in the bathroom and one under the bed. Dirty sheet, did not change. Towel with holes. Even with very hot the Hotel shuts off the air conditioning at night, a shame. This hotel is at most one star.
Nothing except the location
Staff , all staff are extremely unfriendly with the only exception being the lady in the afternoon. They don't look at you when talking, they don't smile, they know nothing about hospitality. The hotel needs massive renovation, it is unclean feels like a hotel from the 1930sAlso the 50 euros deposit is weird! They insisted on taking my card number which is insecure I had to get a new card and disable the old oneProbably the worst hotel I stayed in ever
Clean
I took my underage sister on the trip, but I didn't know that a document with my mother's authorization was required to check her into the hotel, and that was fine, it was something easy to resolve, but we were attended to by a very rude and unprepared receptionist. She acted like a child and didn't let me speak, in an extremely rude manner. When another receptionist arrived, I was able to explain the situation. There were also more rude people at breakfast.
The breakfact expereince was excellent. The room was small but for a short stay was adequate, not much time spent in it. The location is ideal for the facilities of Rome such as attractions and restaurants
Only issue was room size but this did not present any problems as only in the room overnight.
The property was clean. Breakfast was included. It was in the center of town.
The mattress sunken on one side it was not comfortable to sleep on
the room is very small hardly you can move in not clean didn't change the shower towel andnot the toiletnothing inside the room only tv not kettle for hot water not minibar not all the staff kind part of them fakethe breakfast poor if you want croissant you need to order day before
i didn't like everything in this poor hotelexcept the location
Hotel Corona is well located, within walking distance to many key sights, which made getting around easy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean and comfortable, with simple but pleasant decor. Breakfast offered a decent selection to start the day. Overall, Hotel Corona provided a good base for exploring Rome at a reasonable price. I would recommend it for travelers looking for a straightforward and convenient place to stay.
The room was nice, clean, and quiet. They gave us breakfast to go as we had to leave early and that was really nice of them. The location was perfect as it was walk in distance to Trevi Fountain and Colosseum.
Hotel was pretty ok for a short stay. Annoying that we had to pay to use the safe and to leave luggage at hotel on our last day. Staff were very nice. Also no fridge in room and room doesnt heat up that well especially during cold seasons. Apart from that a pleasant stay
I didn’t like anything about this hotel.
The room was a disaster, the heating system didn’t work, everything was old, and there was no hygiene at all.
Location is good. Perfectly clean. Good soap but towels smells like if the were kept near the kitchens or oven although towels were fresh and clean. That’s quite strange. Towels should smell as they are from the SPA salon and not from the kitchen or gilling room.
Quite old and quite cold. Extremely noisy for the rooms with the windows to the outward (to the street). Noisy condition both in the toilet and in the room. No extra blanket. No locker in the toilet.
Breakfast was ok. Nothing exceptional about this place
Bed was uncomfortable. Tiny Room. Leak in the bathroom so floor was constantly wet but they did put towels down before I arrived. Smoke detector constantly flashed a white light which gets annoying. They did not tell me that the outside was actually a market so I awoke to my car stuck in the middle of market stalls in the morning. Out dated hotel not a very enjoyable place to stay
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Rome. One of the biggest highlights is the excellent location: many of the city’s main attractions are within walking distance. The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and other famous sights can easily be reached on foot, and even the Vatican is less than an hour’s walk away. Perfect for anyone who wants to explore Rome on foot.Another great advantage is the lively area surrounding the hotel. There are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find a place to eat or have a drink spontaneously in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, both at the reception and in the breakfast area. We felt very welcome at all times. The breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety, providing a great start to the day.The rooms were on the smaller side, but absolutely fine if you mainly use them for sleeping and spend most of your time out exploring the city. They were clean, functional and perfectly adequate for a city trip.Overall, we were very satisfied with the value for money. Thanks to its central location and friendly service, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Rome.
One small downside we would like to mention concerns the bathroom. There was no heating, and especially at night and during our winter stay, it was very cold. At times it felt really freezing, which made it quite uncomfortable. In this regard, we would have appreciated some form of additional heating or a better solution.
The hotel was very clean, well located and well maintained

The staff were helpful, accommodating, location is accessible, internal safety is guaranteed.
The aircon is cold for winter. We were not able to adjust it to 22° plus. Maybe we should have ask for assistance on the adjustment.
