    Pros +

    • The location was good. I can not complain about the cleanliness either.
    • Clean towels everyday and the bed is being made everyday. The bin is also emptied. Toiletries are also added. The facilities are quite heated and comfortable inside.
    • Staff friendly and near Termini station

    Cons -

    • The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were as flat as a pancake . It was like sleeping on the floor. After 15 hours traveling I was hoping for a good night sleep. Just an fyi. I¿m a small individual and I barely fit in the shower.
    • When you take a shower, the water goes around the shower cubicleb despite being careful not to spread water, therefore the bathroom floor ends up soaked. The hot water takes a lot of time to reach the shower. There wasn't a lot of room where to store clothes however it was rather good for a short stay
    • Old hotel , dust , no cleaning properly, in the night no reception in the hotel

Hi....very quiet inside/out.Convenient to buy foodstuffs as there are nearby mini markets and a supermarket 5 minutes by walk. Round the corner can go for breakfast in cafes and for meals there are restaurants too.

    The location

I had to wait for someone to open the door to be able to go inside the building, then I found nobody at reception and then the facilities are a bit old

    6MykytaPosted on: 12-12-2025

Good value for money, short walk from city centre, clean.

Bad sound proof, loud noises from the radiator all night long, small uncomfortable shower.

The room size is good and the street full with restaurants and as solo travel did not feel unsafe at night in the hotel area, i like that there were balcony and the hotel stuff was helpful and helped me providing a fan

The room is old and bed not really comfortable ,there is no shower bath but you just take the shower beside the toilet seat , and you need to carry 3 keys for the hotel which is a lot considered we are in 2025Also if i have the room included with AC i should find the remote and i decide if i use it or not

Location was good. Close to station and a 20-30 min walk to Colosseum or Trevi Fountain with decent restaurants right outside the door. We asked for a kettle and got one. Thank you

The location and early check in

The wallpaper was ripped, the window in the bathroom was wide open all night as didn't close. No facilities to get a drink. Loud noises throughout the night. .

Location was close to Central train station. Bed was clean and comfy.

Water took forever to warm up and shower was very average

Hotel Lazzari is not a conventional hotel where you walk into a lobby from the street and check in. It is a multi use building with reception on the second floor. I didn’t know that and had a hard time finding the building. There is a plaque (one of a few) on the building next to the door. I also had a hard time entering the building. Someone who happened to live there was entering explained to me that I had to call the hotel. I was there earlier than usual check in time (around 11:30 am) so maybe during normal check in time you just have to buzz, I do not know. I don’t know if there is someone in reception all day longLooking back at the photos, I should have realized the above. I have been to Italy many times so ultimately it was not a problem but might be for anyone who needs conventional hotel services. My room was on the 5th floor overlooking Via Castelfiardo. There was a bit of banging noise in the morning. The room was adequate, clean, and the hotel is in a good location near a Metro and bus lines so once I figured it all out everything was fine.

The location was very good, convenient and quite quiet. A comfortable room and bed, en-suite bathroom and complete privacy.

The receptionist was a bit unapproachable and there was no kettle. To me a kettle should be in every hotel room. In all honesty I'm not sure if I would stay there again if I go back to Rome.It was the cheapest hotel so if they get a kettle I might change my mind. In summary, not all great but there were definitely positive points. I don't like being negative.

Central location, dark rooms, they let us leave our bags their for the day because we had a late train leaving rome

noisy ineffective AC and tiny shower

    3PenaverdePosted on: 7-12-2025

Neat and tidy but its needs to maintain due to old furniture.

The "elevator", if someone left the door open you need to take the stairs going to fifth floor. When you book online, you will have to pay again for "city taxes"when you arrive at the hotel."Air conditioning" unit is poor.
