Hotel Marcantonio

Location. Shower pressure was excellent, the only thing as we know in Europe shower curtain wasn¿t long enough, so I was building a wall with extra towels, to prevent water coming out.

Not really. Breakfast was awesome. Cappuccino or similar & juice & croissant was been delivered to my room.

Room size was very small

 the manager provided excellent service. We emailed the day before to request separate beds & ask if we could check in early, he responded in minutes & confirmed both. We checked out before breakfast was served, so he packed one up for us to take.

Nothing much to dislike, customer service was excellent, 4 minute walk from the train station (which is a 30 minute direct train from the airport). If anyone is hoping for a huge spacious room, this isn't it, but we weren't expecting that anyway.

I liked it better than the four star hotel that I stayed in later in my trip! Clean, friendly staff, great location and economical. Beds comfortable and bathroom was modern and plenty roomy.

Hotel reception located on the 5th floor, access by old small elevator fitting 2 + baggage. Wifi not working in the room.

Location was perfect, really close to the train station! Super convenient. Staff were really nice. At first I was a bit worried about the safety in that neighborhood, it turned out to be fine.

The room was a little bit smaller than expected, but I guess that’s how hotels in Rome work.

Location close to airport transportation and on the Main Street, which gives a sense of security. Also, providing packed breakfast was excellent service.

Limited hot water for shower. Due to no hot water..i had no shower for two days.( we stayed for 3 days). Very very small with the price we paid.

We checked out at 10:00 a.m. and were charged 10 euros for each bag in custody. We had four and paid 40 euros. Abusive.

The location was very nice near the main train station in Rome. This made it easy to get trains to Pompeii or Florence. The breakfast was served in our room. You receive a coffee, juice and croissant for each person. (some people may want more, but we were full enough). The breakfast does not start until 730 which made it difficult when we wanted to catch a train, but the staff did offer us a to-go bag with plain croissants in it and then we just bought coffee at the station.

I wish breakfast was offered earlier. Otherwise no complaints.

Small room with window in a corner, felt like the whole room and bathroom had no windows. It's better not to go there with large travel bags, because the reception is on the 5th floor and the elevator is very small.

Location and staff were friendly

The first three nights I stayed I was in room 14 next to reception, very noisy and cramped. People checking out early and staff wandering around making lots of noise from 4am. Breakfast very basic and no choice other than which coffee you want. The next week I was back for one night was on first floor room 116, room size was better but the air con didn’t work, the bathroom was tiny, the shower did not drain quick enough so ended up filling the shower tray so I had to stop the shower half way through so as not to flood the shower room. Used the toilet in the night and the floor was covered in water which appeared to have come from behind the toilet. Bathroom full of mold too.
