The First Dolce - Preferred Hotels & Resorts

The staff were the best. Friendly; professional and always there to assist you with whatever needs. The room was unbelievable. Clean; modern, and included all amenities. Bathtub; marble shower; separate bathroom, and huge bedroom with king size bed.

Welcome was wonderful, attentiveness of all staff was also wonderful, location perfect, suites were lovely. Would definitely stay there again and have noted it as my go-to place to stay in Rome.

My only criticism is that checkout was not as gracious as greeting upon arrival, this undermined the genuineness of the original welcome but could possibly be put down to the fact that they were very busy at the time. Still it was slightly disappointing.

Need to provide a softer mattress but after traveling Italy it seems all the hotel use a very firm mattress.

I had a beautiful stay at The First Dolce. The location is perfect, and the service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. The entire property is very clean, with great attention to small details that truly elevate the experience. I especially loved the use of Acqua di Parma amenities in the washrooms — such a thoughtful and luxurious touch.The front desk team consistently attended to all my queries and requests, and the convenience of reaching them through WhatsApp made everything even smoother. A special thank you to Alina, Joseph, Zenia, Catalin, and Wael for their professionalism, warmth, and prompt support throughout my stay.The bellmen were also incredibly helpful and always respectful.Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience — thank you for making my stay so comfortable.

Great location in shopping district and walking distance to many important attractions. The room was extremely comfortable and offered beautiful amenities. Quiet and intimate, not too big.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff were very helpful, from the door man to the reception. We had an upgrade to a suite which was an extra bonus and we loved our room. Having that much food put on all the breakfast tables was too much and we would have preferred a buffet stye to be able to make our selection. Having the ability to order a hot breakfast was great and the breakfast staff were fabulous and very accomodating

The First Dolce in Rome was extraordinary for so many reasons.The property is perfectly located within walking distance to luxury fashion houses, the Spanish stairs and other landmarks. The hotel exceeded even our high expectations of an I Prefer property - it is pristine, absolutely stunning and the rooms are fabulous. We stayed in their Spa Suites - twice actually. Each suite was spacious, equipped with modern amenities, beautifully designed and housed a shower/steam room as well as a separate spacious jacuzzi tub. Both are constructed with Saint Laurent black marble and allow you to end your day in blissful luxury.The real treasure is the hotel management and team. They take service to the next level and genuinely care for their guests. (I’m still raving about our experience to everyone I know!)We had an unfortunate freak occurrence with our first room and were unable to stay there overnight. The management team could not have been any more apologetic or responsive. The hotel manager was off-site but immediately arranged for us to move to their sister property, The First Arte, an equally luxurious venue only 3 blocks away. Heni personally escorted us to the Arte, where they arranged for us to stay in an upgraded Spa Suite with a sumptuous complimentary breakfast feast. The team at the Arte was the height of graciousness and warmth despite the last minute accommodation.We were offered a second night at the Arte as an alternative to returning to the Dolce the next day but given the phenomenal care shown to us by the Dolce we elected to return there for the second night. The First Dolce staff came and personally conveyed all our belongings to the hotel where we were given an even more luxurious Spa Suite - Room 201. The new room had additional luxuries including a beautiful terrace over the Via del Corso and ….a fully equipped state of the art Vision Technogym! Truly next level functionality, convenience and comfort.

I literally cannot think of anything I didn't LOVE about this hotel and the amazing time we enjoyed there.

Loved the hotel, the location was excellent, the staff was so kind and attentive and they made our honeymoon really special by giving us an upgrade to a suite! Even the breakfast was delicious and really nice!

No complaints, over-all fantastic experience

Very friendly and polite staff at reception, made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. We got upgraded into a top floor suite which was stunning.

Rooms were large and comfortable. Concierge staff was amazing. Very responsive to all of our needs.
