Pros +
- It was staffed, very rude staff, but they technically had employees which is the only positive i can think of.
- The location is excellent, right next to the train station, which makes it very convenient. We were allowed a late check-in, the room was clean and there were basic toiletries (shampoo and soap) provided. The location and cleanliness are the only positives, but the poor facilities, lack of hospitality, and unprofessional attitude make this hotel feel far below even basic standards. Definitely not recommended.
- Nice position, cheap location
Cons -
- Incredibly rude staff. Had to ask for cleaning supplies since the room was dirtier than you can imagine and they were a total nightmare. For real though, bring your own cleaning supplies if you're planning on staying here. Probably a shower curtain too.
- The worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, mainly because of the owner’s behavior. When we arrived, he insisted on keeping our IDs and got upset when we refused and copy them in another room, visibly annoyed. On the second night, we had to ring the intercom to be let in since guests aren’t given access cards, and then he angrily confronted us for having our room key, claiming there’s a policy to leave it at reception every time you go out, which was never mentioned at check-in.- Inconvenient access: no key card for the main entrance, you must ring the intercom every time.- Absurd rule requiring guests to leave the room key at reception, never mentioned at check-in.- Rooms are very modest and basic, with a tiny shower cabin and a dirty curtain.- No basic amenities such as a fridge or kettle.- The overall attitude of the owner made us feel uncomfortable, restricted and completely unwelcomed.

Nice position, cheap location
The building is dirty and dusty
Close to Roma terminal train station, reasonable price
Small room without 3 beds although I was told that we would have three twin beds as we were three people. We could not have breakfast just because we arrived after 10 pm
Great place for location, staff and room size. Totally up to my expectations. I don’t think you can find better for the money, especially in this very busy period. Everything worked in my room (tv, AC, hot water). Staff was friendly and available. I recommend!
Good locationGood price
No air condition
Man at reception was very friendly. Helped us with our luggage etc
Not very clean. Bed was very uncomfortable. Double bed was two camp beds pushed together, not a proper mattress. Room was unclean, bathroom especially unclean. No hot water in bathroom for showers etc. No air con. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Shower didn’t have proper doors so leaked into room. Toilet flush was extremely loud. Rooms were not sound proof so noise like tv and phone alarms could be heard in other rooms.
Location
Very old and not painted inside the room , walls were a mess , phone didn’t work , couldn’t use lift with out the guy being irritated and rude . Strong smoke in office , he was very grumpy as we came in and for two woman to be traveling alone didn’t feel safe . Bed was like card board . It was cold and couldn’t figure out the heater .
For that money you have more than you need: great location, cleaning every day, clean towels, new bathroom, nice host. If We want to come back to Roma We will Stay in this hotel again.
Blanket is a little old and need to be changed, but the heating is strong so you dont need a blankets.
The location was good and the staff was nice to us even though we checked in at night. But the staff doesn’t speak
It was very cold. There was no warm blankets. The bed was not clean. We could see hairs from other visitors
The Hotel is in Rome a walking distance to the metro station, great restaurants, the Colosseum and San Giovanni Basilica. The front desk gentlemen were kind and helpful.
The proximity to the Coloseum was not bad
The hotel was dirty. The front desk staff was rude and not one bit accommodating. They kept our passports at check-in supposedly to make copies and never gave them back. The next morning we were flying back to the states the door to the front desk was locked and closed and we were unable to retrieve our passports as the attendant was asleep. When we called the front desk on the phone from they act as if it was not their problem and would not help. It was a horrible experience and I would recommend Bookings.com reevaluate their relationship with this hotel.
Although it is clear it is a very old building, it is absolutely value for money. We had chosen it for its vicinity to Termini and the Centro Storico but also because it was really economical. While at first sight it seems old and grey, the good thing is the behaviour of the staff - both men at the reception were really helpful, polite, smiley. Also, despite the fact that the rest of the room was plain and old and it showed, the bathroom was new and very clean , something very important for me.Another advantage is the 24 hour reception. Thank you! You gave us what you promised :)
it was clean and near the Center. 24 working reception
Very helpful staff. The men at the reception desk were vere nice. Big and clean room! Excellent location. Near to Vittorio Emanuele metro station.. At the corner there is a nice cafe that you can eat delicious cornetto and drink coffee!
There is no refrigerator in the room.
Rooms are clean and comfortable in great location. 10 min walk to the Colloseum, right at the metro station.
Elevator is accessable only with a member of staff. So you need to go from 3rd floor down to 1st floor to Asi for a lift. Recepcionist was smoking at the reception desk
Location is excellent, close to some really good restaurants, buses and metro. Easy walk to Colosseum.
Looks a bit shabby from outside but clean and comfortable inside. No breakfast but plenty to choose from nearby
Close to the Colosseum. Close to the main train station Termini. Close to the Metro station.
Very toxic man on the reception (perhaps he is owner). The first person we talked to in Rome was the person at the reception in the hotel. Left a bad impression of the city as a whole. When we have arrived he gave us some documents to sign in Italian. I don't know Italian and I kindly asked what is this papers, what rules we should to sign? Answer was short: "take you passports and go away if you don't want to sign!" Is it ok to give answer like that for travellers on this simple question? I believe no. The photos of the room are not exactly the same as in the photo. The room actually looks older. The windows overlook a busy road, noisy.
10 min walk from Colosseum. 2 min from metro. Very nice people working there. Good beds.
Door to shower could have been a little bit bigger...but I squeezed through.
The two men at the reception were highlight of the hotel. Always welcoming and smiling. (Can't say the same about other Italians we crossed in Rome ). Hotel was perfectly located with 12min walk to Colloseum and 2min to metro that will take you within 30min to Vatican. Was clean and cozy. Good WiFi connection.
The bed felt like it had old mattresses, not very comfortable. Also quite a bit of noises from main road under the windows. Apart of that all good.
