Relatively close to translation (easy walk with minimal luggage, bit of a trudge with more), stretch walking distance to Coliseum and ancient Rome. Good price. Staff accommodated a premature arrival.
Wi fi was spotty, room was very dated and not as clean as most places I've stayed, small. Water pressure for shower minimal, even at off time.
5 min walk from the train station, roma termini. quiet. clean. vintage. comfortable stay for 4 days. host receptive and kind. great value, priced right. safe place- its beside the police station!
many mirrors- gave me the creeps. have to cover the big one.
When I arrived I was told they had to move me to an other hotel. The explanation was sketchy and something about licences. I was escorted to the new hotel by a staff member.
When I arrived I was told I was on 3rd floor but lift only went to 2nd floor. The foyer and stairs were dirty and dangerous as some of the bannisters were hanging off. Some of the electrical fittings in the room seemed to me to be unsafe. As I was travelling alone I did not want to go looking for a new hotel. The hotel was definitely not what I was expecting.
Very poor
My shirt was stolen when the room was cleaned (initially i had said it was mistakenly taken but since i didn’t get it back i consider it stolen) the room wasnt even cleaned properly. They only change bedsheets once in two days or so. The bathroom isnt cleaned at all! Its quiet unsafe at night. I would not stay here again neither would i suggest anyone to stay here.
Great location only a ten minute walk from the colosseum and really close to the train station. Tram opposite, loads of shops, restaurants and bars nearby
It’s basic, its a budget hotel - as long as you’re using it as a base to explore the city and not expecting to spend loads of time in luxury, you’re fine.
The price.
It was not clean. The property is located in a bad area. The room has not a good look for the door. It was danger. Never again.
The location of the hotel is perfect, 7 minutes from Termini station and 20-30 minutes' walk from all sights. The hotel is clean and the staff is commendable.
Everything was good.
Aircon was working well and bed was comfortable with spare blankets available.
Location was a little far away from the main sights in Rome. Upon check in, hotel staff did not provide any guidance of how to use the keys or access hotel amenities. We were provided with 4 keys and had to spend time figuring out how to unlock each door individually. Hotel reception was rarely attended to. During our 4 night stay our room was not serviced once even though we had the “please clean our room” sign on the door and we had to ask for additional towels. Unfortunately one evening we ran out of toilet paper and due to the front desk being unattended we needed to purchase our own. Overall, you mostly get what you pay for, but I wouldn’t stay again.
Hotel smells really bad, very outdated, the condition of the bathroom is outrageus, even for a budget hotel it is a disgrace. Only positive is the location.

If you're not too demanding and are simply looking for a place to sleep, Hotel Farini will be just fine. The location is perfect for exploring Rome by foot, it is literally 3 minutes away from Termini Station. Also, it is not expensive at all, even though it is far from luxurious. It actually doesn't look like a hotel and could be difficult to find if you don't know the exact location. The staff, especially Mr. Angelo, was very nice and helped us find it with no problems.
The only real disappointment was the breakfast. We expected at least a bit of variety and a place to sit, but all we got was packed croissants to take with you and a small do-it-yourself coffee machine.Other than that, we had no real issues.
Absolutely nothing
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I am giving 1 star because 0 is not possible but that's been truly a terrifying experience!!!!! I was woken up in the morning because the LOCAL POLICE came to inspect my room to investigate some irregularities in the hotel - my room was for single use and was passed off as double use!!! And they found 2 other irregularities throughout the entire structure!!!!! The owner tried to enter the room, and when I came out he didn't even apologize!!! I asked Booking support to intervene but they didn't solve anything, no response from the owners. Not to mention the concierge guy, who seemed so kind even blocked me on WhatsApp when I asked for more information!!! Are you kidding me??? Icing on the cake: horrible room. Cigarette butt left on the windowsill, writings on the wall left by unsavory people, blanket pierced by cigarettes, glass and old furniture from the post-war period and noise everywhere from morning to night!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!

location is great.
tiny room, thin wall, run down room facilities, noisy.
I got the room at the ground floor. It was bigger than I expected and there is a small bathroom too. the furniture and design is bit old but its ok and I still like it. the location is near the main train station and all the tourist spots. there is lots of restaurants and stores around. also the hotel is located near the police station so its safe. overall my stay is so comfortable
the hotel is very hard to find. furnitures are old and worn-out.
