Pros +
- ultra-central, close to many means of public transportation, close to many tourist attractions.
- The location was great.
- Hotel is in the center of a famous plaza, Spanish steps, interiors neat, clean and well appointed.
Cons -
- the rooms are a bit small, but it doesn't bother me, I don't come to Rome to stay in a hotel room
- The room was stifling hot in late October and no way to turn on any air conditioning. The bed was super uncomfortable. The lift was broken more than it was working.
- The fact that we asked the last day to leave our luggage to the reception for a few hours and they told us that there is a charge for leaving them after 2 o'clock.

The Location was very good.
The fact that we asked the last day to leave our luggage to the reception for a few hours and they told us that there is a charge for leaving them after 2 o'clock.
It was such a good location to be in the center of Rome. I was steps away from Piazza di Spagna, a few minutes to walk to Piazza Navona, I was able to walk to the Colosseum and Vatican city/
- perfect location- it was cleaned daily
Unfortunately , it was a very unpleasant and disappointing experience. I have stayed in much cheaper hotels and the room amenities had been much better! First of all, the bathroom was very narrow. When you sat on the toilet, your knees could touch the radiator. The toiler paper was of the worst quality possible, I bought my own one at the supermarket. Secondly, you are not given the air conditioning controller, they control the heating of the room and it functions during specific hours! Of course, the room was not equipped with a coffee / tea maker and no slippers were offered. To my mind, these are basic things and as I have already mentioned budget hotels do offer them! I don't think that they are considered luxurious or exceptional ! They show that you respect the guest and you want to provide them with a delighful experience. However, the worst thing of all was that there was no shower telephone, just a shower head above you like those on the beaches!! You felt like you could not clean yourself properly. Girls, if you don't want to wash your hair daily, then good luck!! You will have to learn to do acrobatics. It's unbelievable! Who doesn't have a SHOWER TELEPHONE nowadays??!! On the whole, I was infuriated and I felt uneasy in that room.
First of all, I have to say that the location is excellent. You can easily explore everything on foot, and the hotel is literally a two-minute walk from the Spanish Steps.
Unfortunately, the room was not like in the photos. The first night was very cold, we had to heat the entire room ourselves because the heating was not turned on. In my opinion, the staff should have prepared the room in advance, knowing that guests were arriving. The bathroom radiator did not work at all, and it was really cold. The staff provided us with a ridiculously small heater, but it barely made any difference. Both the room and the bathroom were old not in a charming or vintage way, but simply worn out and outdated. There were no proper duvets, only old and used blankets. Cleanliness was acceptable overall, but the shower was not cleaned properly. The reception staff seemed very disorganized, especially one woman in particular.
Excellent central location.
Hotel is a bit old and needs some upgrades. Otherwise, rooms were clean and the staff friendly.
Excellent location
Cleanliness and staff very friendly
Excellent location, near the Spanish Steps. Lively location with people always roaming around.
Leaving the key at the desk everytime I left my room.
Location was greatStaff where very friendly and helpfulRoom was to a very good standard
Room was a little noisey as there are tiles in hallway and suitcases wheels clatter
Overall a very good stay in a very good area with easy access to anything you would want to watch. Perfect as a starting point for visiting Rome.
The only down side was the toilet which was hard to get to flush. Other than that it would have been a perfect stay in every way especially for the price.
Location
No hot water for two days;Rude staff;Worst hotel experience I ever had to be honest
Spanish steps so close
Awful. One day no water, one day toilet don’t work, every day cold water wouldn’t work. They were rude, unhelpful, and the property was barely manageable for me to stay at.
The room made us feel like we were in Rome! Old world charm, comfy beds, super clean, well appointed, amazing staff that helped us a few times with questions of where to go, even warning us of the Metro strike so we could plan our last day accordingly and still go see the Vatican /st peters basilica. Close to shopping, the spanish steps, restaurants...so many great things to say about this fabulous place.Would book again in a heart beat!
Location amazingFriendly staff
Old fashioned and not vert well deosgned and up to date.Need to leave key every time you leave. Can't control AC easily.
Reception staff, can’t beat location in how much time it eventually saves you being right in centre and close to top attractions
Can’t complain much, it’s basic. You get what you paid for but I guess a little bottle of water as a welcome would go a long way.
The washroom was clean and was maintained daily.
There was no air conditioning, which wasn't needed in the night, but was needed during the day. The room description on booking.com however mentioned that there is air conditioning. They have a radiator, which is operated in the heating or cooling mode depending on the weather. Since it was October, they were only setting it to heating mode. Though the pleasant weather made my stay very comfortable, I would have preferred it if it was made clear in advance while booking.Another point was about the blanket. There was a haphazardly folded thing in the cupboard, which I did not touch. Since there was no blanket on the bed, I went downstairs to ask them for a blanket, to which they asked why I had been asking for air conditioning on one end and a blanket on the other. I did not find this reasonable. Apparently, that strange thing in the cupboard was the blanket. However, once these misunderstandings were cleared, I did not face any problem again.
The location is amazing
The room was not ready when we arrived the check in time is very late around 3pm and still didn’t have the room clean, the walls are very very old, feel a bit creepy at nights
I stayed at this hotel for 3 days.Very clean room and helpful staff.A friendly place and very close to all the sights. I highly recommend it.
