Just 328 feet from Saint Mark's Square, Hotel Colombina is set in a historic building overlooking the canal of the nearby Bridge of Sighs. The rooms have a traditional Venetian design, with multicolored marble floors. Each room offers air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a satellite flat-screen TV. The rooms on the top floor offer beautiful views including the Palazzo Ducale, and St. Mark's bell tower and dome. The hotel is set in Palazzo Colombina, and has a private water landing that you can use to arrive directly from the airport by water taxi. Just 984 feet away you will find San Zaccaria water bus stop. Breakfast is served every morning in the Francesco Guardi breakfast room located in the main building, while guests staying in the annex enjoy breakfast in a dedicated lounge. Drinks can be enjoyed at the American bar, La Bauta, also in the main building. Friendly staff at the 24-hour reception can assist you with tourist information. Staff can also provide free city maps.

- Fabulous breakfast, fabulous dinner and views of the canal.
- Great location and friendly staff
- Everything was outstanding.
Cons -
- We arrived by water taxi and because we arrived at high tide they had to drop us about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. With all of our luggage it was a chore to get to the hotel. Try to get there at low tide and you will not have a problem.
- Unfortunately based on the romantic nature of the room and location we left the doors to the balcony open most of the evening and had to deal with some mosquitos. Our fault.
- The room was very small and located in a separate building apart from the main hotel which did not have an elevator.
