Just behind Saint Mark's Square, Hotel Locanda Canal is set in a historic building from the 18th century. The hotel is next to a small canal in central Venice. Rooms have elegant period furniture, free internet access, and hydromassage showers. Buffet breakfast is available. You have excellent service from the friendly staff at the Locanda Canal Hotel.

- Location is great. Hotel is very old
- The location was definitely good, which helped offset the comfort issues
Cons -
- Room very old, stains, broken furniture, terrible bed and pillows, AC didn?t work
- This hotel was EXTREMELY smelly. The bathroom plumbing clearly had an issue with sewage back up that caused things to smell awful after a shower, and that was extremely obnoxious. Additionally the lobby smelled like a moldy diaper.
