Domus Ciliota is a former Augustinian monastery located in the historic center of Venice, 10 minutes' walk from Piazza San Marco. It features a large inner garden with tables and chairs. The Domus offers modern rooms including bathroom with shower, TV, air-conditioning and fridge. Breakfast is a varied buffet. The former chapel inside the Ciliota can be used as a meeting room. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

- The location was very good due to it's central location to St. Marco Square and the Vaporetto stopped at San Samuele to shuttle near the hotel. The breakfast was also very good.
- Location.
Cons -
- I did not expect the hotel to be like dormitory style. You can hear every door slam shut every night. The hair dryer sounds like a "shop vac" and you can hear your neighbors conversations. We did not have considerate neighbors who came in very late.
- Rooms shown on website were not accurate. Breakfast was included, self serve, adequate but the ants crawling on the buffet table were gross. Staff were not very client focused.
