I loved the vibe of the place. I was in Berlin for work and coming back to Lulu was a highlight. Great breakfast and dinner! Thanks to the team!

I liked the interior design and tasty breakfast

Our bathtub leaked and literally flooded the whole bathroom. When I came to inform the staff, I received no apology. On top of that, the waitress was unkind and very keen to charge me the coffee that I additionally had at breakfast. I believe she reminded the receptionist twice where I had absolutely no intention not to pay it. I mean, you could have spared the coffee for the flooded bathroom :). All in all. Pretty place, but the service was mediocre. The rooms are tiny.

The price/quality ratio is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The interior design and atmosphere are pleasant. They make an effort to be environmentally friendly. Breakfast is tasty. The shower gel, shampoo, etc. smell very nice. Convenient covered parking spaces.

The rooms are quite small. The interior finishing could be improved. We didn’t find the beds very comfortable; it seems like one mattress, but it’s actually two separate mattresses with a thin topper on top. At breakfast, only filter coffee in carafes is included. If you want an espresso or something similar, you have to pay extra.

How sustainable they were and organic breakfast made with good quality ingredients.

Quaint property with beautiful rooms and a lovely courtyard. Excellent breakfast! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is easy to get transit and walking distance to the Neue Nationalgalerie.

While the area is convenient we didn't find a lot of great restaurants nearby.

The hotel is amazing and all the staff is multilingual. I felt at home and enjoyed my stay. Meals and coffee here are very nice.

Street noise made it hard to sleep through the night.

Everything was super cozy! We liked the style of the rooms. We stayed in a Comfy Plus room and it was very good.

I read some comments about the mattress that are very soft and this was one of the things that we didn’t like too. They were not the worse but they are very soft. The bathroom was very small and when you take a shower everything got flooded.

We loved the location so close to public transport and walking distance to restaurants, etc. Rooms were clean and the receptionist was really lovely and helpful.

The beds were so soft you couldn’t roll over. I’m all for sustainability but not to the point of discomfort.

Lulu Guldsmeden is a beautiful hotel. The rooms have so much beautiful wood and 4 poster beds and swings and the water in the shower is lovely and hot all the time. The breakfast has got plenty of choice for everyone and is delicious. The rooms are cleaned and made nice everyday. And another great factor to this hotel is how they care so much for the environment and minimise waste. Everything was perfect.

The receptionist. We thought checking out would be fast as we had pre paid everything. We had had breakfast the morning before, which we hadn't pre paid for, but we paid the morning we had them. Luckily, my husband kept the receipt that we had paid, but on checkout, the receptionist said we owed for breakfast. When we produced the receipt, he still didn't accept that we had paid...it was their own receipt, he had to check with the previous mornings server and basically a whole lot of palaver we could have done without as we were trying to make a train.When he finally checked, checked again, and then checked some more, he conceded that we had indeed paid and he was all apologies. We had to take a taxi as we missed the bus when we wrote an email stating what hat happened, we got a reply saying they were so sorry again and if we had the receipt for the taxi they'd reimburse us!! Like we were going down that road again!!! No way!Everything else was fine, but leave plenty of time for checkout.

Rooms were lovely and decorated well and close to the subway to get round.

Lack of mirrors in the room and no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.

Breakfast and overall atmosphere of the restaurant was truly unique with a very big selection of food.

Pity that you have to pay extra for a Cappuccino at the breakfast. Although this hotel has a sustainability certificate and even the alcoholic products at the bar were "green" there was no charging station for e-cars in sight. The TV satellite reception in the room was very poor - you could not watch anything.

Well located; Very cosy room and lodge; kind staff and very tasty and fresh dinner

For the group of girlfriends (in the 4-person loft) the bathroom could be bigger
