Hotel Vita Berlin-Messe

Location: For our purposes, being West of the city center was important, but the BVG connections from the Hotel Vita to all other parts of Berlin were excellent. To have such a modern, clean, and comfortable hotel with a friendly, helpful staff and an outstanding breakfast was a bonus we hadn't counted on.

Consistent replies and detailed before arrival on booking. Sparkling clean facility. Staff is striving for customer satisfaction "anytime". Good breakfast. A separate comfortable smoking room for smokers(wow!) and it is well ventilated. Spacious rooms with everything I need. Medical pillow and a big soft pillow. Well done guys keep it up!

No drinking water bottle in the rooms.

Nice simple place. Easy to access, good breakfast. Rooms bigger than usual. Perfect for anyone going to the Messe (showgrounds). It's an easy 15 walk - no need to bother with public transport or taxi's. Loads or great restaurants a short walk away. Both S-bahn and U-bahn stations a short walk away. Wifi was excellent. RDP'ing into work server worked extremely well.

No onsite restaurant (for anything other than breakfast) or bar but not a big deal. Just putting this info for other travellers. Have to arrive before 9PM on check-in because the reception desk is not manned after 9PM (which also keeps prices down for travellers). Again not a big issue but important for travellers to know.

Friendly and accessible (paid); on street parking (usually) available nearby, also really close to public transport.

Friendly staff, room had plenty of space, complimentary tea, coffee, chocolate. I have arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time but it wasn't an obstacle to enter the reserved room. Perfect sound isolation, the suroundings were very quiet. Easily adjustable room temperature. Selection of breakfast food - not the biggest one, but it had everything one would basically need. Train station - 7-8 mins away.

No available tables for breakfast so had to come back again twice.

Very comfortable and clean including beds, very good breakfast, good location for messe activity. Small hotel on the 4th floor. Really nice and friendly staff.

A surprise, no reception at lunchtime. Don't expect to drop your luggages there during lunchtime.

Staff was super kind and the person at the reception explained me about the night entrance patiently in very much detail, by showing photos etc.The location was good, close to Spandau station. Room was very clean and organized. Although the building is located on a busy street, the room was really calm. The building of the hotel is very nice.Finally, I’ve also liked the content of breakfast. The staff who works in breakfast room was very neat and attentive for everything.The price/performance is really good.

Very nice hotel in super good location. Staff is super nice. Everything what was served in breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast could have more sweet's and yogurt's choice. I do not like to use yogurt packed in small plastic caps.But it is only as advice, not complain.

Large room with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly staff. 10 minutes walk to IFA (Entrance Nord) and 5 minutes walk to U-Bahn. Nice neighborhood with restaurants.

Limited reception hours

It's a nice little hotel on the 4th floor of a large building. It was clean and staff was nice.

The huge pillow made it almost impossible for me to sleep on it. There were no alternative pillows in the room and I returned too late to ask if they have other pillows (there's noone at the reception after 9pm).

Property was lovely and clean , great location especially if you are going to the stadium . Not very well signed post but once you find where it is , easy to use side door at night.

No air conditioning, but the electric fan helped .. fridge was not very cold .

The hotel was nice. It takes just one floor in a building. Very good buffet. Clean. Beautiful view from our window. Windows open for fresh air. Even though no AC, it was nice with fresh air. The manager was very helpful. All the staff was great. It felt cozy and comfortable. Close to several great restaurants, U-Bahn and buses.

You have to pay extra for your companion. But it might be a rule in general in Germany. In US we are not charged extra

The late check in procedure was well informed and went well. The staff were nice and helpful. The location was good near the CityCube.

The room was not cleaned below the beds. There was both dust, plastics and nuts below the beds.
