Pros +
- The room was quite small but well-appointed and comfortable for a solo traveler. I had the 25, which I believe is the 3rd size room. For two travelers I would probably choose the next size up. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is stylish in a warm and cozy way, I especially loved the lounge area. The fitness room was larger than I expected and well set up. All the staff I encountered were friendly and eager to assist. The hotel left a small Christmas gift outside every room one morning in December, which I thought was a lovely gesture.

- The man at the reception was very friendly.
Cons -
- The hotel restaurant apparently is fairly popular (they have a TV celebrity chef), so don't count on being able to eat there unless you have a prior reservation. There is no staff by the door of the hotel, which, by the way, is very easy to miss.
- I had a courtyard view room which was honestly lovely and felt private, but I do wonder if a park view would’ve been a cherry on top of the whole stay.
- The breakfast buffet costs €29 per Person, eggs, cheese and meat excluded. So, we spent €70 for the two of us. That's too expensive, imho.

The staff are so kind and caring. They welcomed us warmed, lent a phone cord and were very flexible with the booking. The breakfast is really exceptional and goes until 14:00.The bed is excellent.
We confirmed cancelling the breakfast for the second morning (had other options that day and it’s quite expensive) and it hasn’t been refunded, so be sure to go over any details with the staff.
Higher priced than others but for us worth it. Everything was great. We had three kids with us and while it isn’t family hotel as such, the personnel were very friendly and accommodating and made the hotel a great place for both kids and parents on our extended weekend in Berlin. We expect to come back
Staff attitude, details of finishing throughout the hotel. Warm and inviting lounge area put to excellent use.
Some breakfast items were a bit too greasy.
Very stylish place - good bed and bedding) wonderful staff - loved Marcel especially! Bar and restaurant were pricey but excellent
Rooms are small. NOTE: Disabled room is NOT good for 2 people! Bed is full size and not appropriate for more than one night. This should be made clear!!
We paid to be upgraded to a better room, so my review is not on this room. It was a lovely room and the hotel was great with a fabulous bar and live jazz on a Friday night. The breakfast was 'ok'
Terrible flat pillows that hurt your neck
Orania is in the coolest area with edgy, cool shops and restaurants. The hotel itself has incredible design and decor that feels rich, grounded, and inspiring. There is a piano player in the main restaurant that is so beautiful and relaxing- it feels luxurious without being pretentious to be here.
Nothing! The staff are especially warm and supportive.
A comfortable stylish hotel with a relaxed vibe and helpful friendly staff. Rooms were very nice.
Perhaps not in the best location - need to walk about 20 mins to get to the good restaurants etc. A couple of nice cocktail bars on the same street though.
Great location, rooms, and great team - very friendly and supportive
Rooms and facility was clean.
The room was very small, and overall the experience didn’t quite match what we were hoping for given the cost.
The neighborhood was interesting and eclectic; lots of diversity in choices of cafes and clubs. Everywhere we ate was reasonably priced and the food was delicious! Very easy to get anywhere in the city- museums, historical sites, shops, etc.
This is just my opinion and others may totally disagree. I thought the dinner menu was a bit limited, although I’m sure every dish was prepared to perfection.
Impeccable service, courteous staff, excellent breakfast, stylish cocktail bars and great cocktails, and Peking duck dinner well executed. Good night sleep in a bustling neighborhood.
We got the smallest room and could feel a bit cramped. Warm days during our stay and the AC seems a bit weak.
The staff is lovely, very professional and helpful, in particular the bartenders and the staff that serves the breakfast. The bar area looks absolutely lovely, very cozy in the night, the bartenders are magicians (thanks Julian and his colleagues) doing wonder-coktails that I absolutely loved. The room is very cozy and modern, the bathroom and shower area is big, and shower really nice :)Also I did love the live music, the jazz in the evenings, goes well with the cocktails :)
it would have been nice to have a couple of options of fresh juices at breakfast...included in the menu
Almost everything, really. Without getting into too many details, it's just a very good hotel. Period. It's not cheap, but you get you're money's worth, as simple as that. We got the 50m room, it was just wonderful, but so was everything else.
Only thing I can think of - the floor. We got the room at the first floor. Due to the double (tripple?) glass windows you don't hear the street at all, but everyone on the street can look inside your room. We had to keep the drapes closed 95% of the time coz my wife didn't feel comfortable, thus missing the point of having these huge windows.
We stayed at the Orania Berlin for 10 days this month. We came from Vanvouver to visit our son . This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Orania and it never disappoints. All of the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were professional and fun and attentive. The lounge and restaurant and bar are beautifully appointed . Our room had big windows with a view over the park . Great bedding and large modern bathroom with great shower. The location is fun and dynamic and close to the metro. A perfect boutique experience in a lively neighborhood. Can’t wait to return next year.
Beautiful facilities, smartly designed and comfortable room, very quiet. Nice fitness center.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautifully presented overall and very stylish. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb. It is probably one of the finest hotels we have stayed in. The location is great. Kreuzberg is a very cool neighbourhood, with some excellent bars, and the hotel is ideally placed to access them all, plus it's close to the u-bahn. Just a superb experience all round..
Everything was great, there were no negatives.
Wonderful hotel. We were met by live music, a welcome drink & good food in the bar area when we arrived from a late flight - the perfect start to our stay. Excellent & generous breakfast; very helpful staff.
