The first room we were assigned smelled really strongly of smoke but we asked to be moved and this was sorted immediately.

Close to a train station.

It feels like a bargain hotel. No comforts - no coffee maker, no water bottle, no hair conditioner… I expected a bit more and after this stay I cancelled a reservation for this chain that I had scheduled later in my trip.

We arrived early around 11am and they let us check in early. Given we had left Ireland early in the morning and given the weather in Berlin, we were very grateful. My sister fell on the ice on the Sunday and the staff were very helpful.

A great location, simple but excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and nice clean room! A great place to stay in Berlin!

Sometimes noises from the railway are disturbing.

Location excellent, very clean, staff helpful , bar area very nice and a great selection of cocktails . So easy to get around the city and easily walkable to many sights. A great place to stay for Xmas markets , so many within minutes of the hotel.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic with so many guests on the Saturday so difficult to get a seat and lots of queues ,but that is probably because the hotel is so popular ! A minor gripe , it wouldn't stop me staying there again

It was a little hot, couldn’t figure out the airconditioning. Not a huge deal though.

The staff was nice, and the room was really cool.

I missed having an extra trash can in the room (besides the one in the bathroom)

The location is great! Close to the subway, restaurants and stores

The rooms were very warm, whatever we did we couldn’t get the temperature down. Another point, whenever we showered the bathroom stayed moist. The door closed by itself so we couldn’t air it without blocking the door with the bathroom door. Lastly, I like the idea of two pillows with different firmness. However, with both of them I woke up in the middle of the night with a stiff neck.

The location's good, easy access to everything, comfortable bed and pillows, good breakfast options and pleasant staff. We've stayed in several Motel One hotels so far, it's always a pleasant stay.

We couldn't get parking in the hotel garage because it was already full. We had to park in the parking garage in the city.

Perfect location, close to the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, great connection to the Hauptbahnhof. Nice breakfast. Design of the hotel. Bar :-)

Great stay, room was comfortable with a great bed.

Room was very warm and unable to turn the thermostat down (we moved it to the minimum but it was still too hot)

Nice connection to transport, it is 3-4 min away form Alexanderplatz railway station, which is wonderful, fairly close to sites of interest in the town, nice breakfast and comfy bed, clean rooms, lot of restaurants and shops around.

One of the days the cleaning lady forgot to leave floor bath towel in the bathroom and not pleasant to step on the naked floor after shower. Currently bit of construction around the hotel, a strong noise of probably air conditioning system was audible when you open the window during the day.Across the street probably due to lot of small food places/shops there is visible presence of rats - two jumping across the street early morning when I was leaving and one near one restaurant across street previous afternoon. This is not connected to the hotel itself, which is nice and clean, but leaving unpleasant feeling when you move around the area. Location issue that you have to balance with the proximity of transport and food/shopping areas.

Very handy for travel with Alexanderplatz HBF just a short walk away and very close to several of the Christmas markets

A kettle in the room would have been good
