Hotel Messe am Funkturm

The location is close to the Messe and easy to walk from there to the conference hall. The shower is good and hot, room and bathroom nice and warm. Their 4 single beds in a room

All mattresses were with noticeable metal springs and thin. Very uncomfortable to sleep. I solved it partially by putting two mattresses on top of each other and then a blanket. Slept on that triple layer with blanket on top. Inner courtyard rooms wake up early if the neighbors take the trash trolley out … making a lot of noise… so don’t think of taking a long morning sleeping. 8:00-8:30 wake up time. Bring earplugs

The property was dirty and not well maintained. The bathroom especially was horrible. It is certainly one of the cheaper hotels in Berlin but still at this price you would expect basic cleanliness.

Towels are dirty . Beds not comfortable. Electric heater inside room. It is not true value for our money what I paid for night. Seems very expensive. Third grade hotel. Bad smell inside corridor. Unwashed bed sheets in corridor for several days .Please do not recommend these hotels for others for 80 Euro night.Thanks

The close connectivity to local train and bus station. Restaurant are available very nearby.

Breakfast was not included, The corridors and hotel main entrance are very dirty and uncleaned. Bathrooms are very small and conjusted to use..The beds are small and not convenient to sleep. Pillows are not comfortable.

It’s very close to Messe Nord (not Messe Sud, so check where your congress will be as it’s a big congress centre…)

It’s a construction site, so beware some extra noise (October 25), and overall everything is tired and double rooms so small if you have twin beds in your room you need to choose between being able to get out of bed or open the wardrobe doors. Rooms are far too small to have two beds in them. The room had a kettle - but no cups. There is a reception but only 9-23, so you don’t see staff when you leave and you don’t see staff when you arrive back. There is no breakfast.

One Night, Visiting Berlin after work (business) and sleeping elsewhere, all things good.

The place is terrible, it shoudl have been closed very long time ago. I swear they could make horror movies at this hotel. The sanitary state of the place is in worst possible condition. I got the itching from sleeping on the very questionable bed with pillow stained so bad I didn't want to put my head on it. You can only walk with shoes on the floor of the room because how terrible and dirty it looks. Electricity sockets loose, TV don't work, window barely closes. Overall state of the hotel in very bad condition

It was very accessible to the bus station and concert venue I was attending. And it was cheap (for Berlin)

Bed was terrible, the ceiling in the lobby looked like it had fallen in and was covered in plastic. The room was not very clean.

The room was an upgrade on just the single room that I had expected. It seemed to have been recently painted and carpeted and was clean and a good size. The room was serviced every day. The shower was easy to use with plenty of hot water and a fan was provided in the room.

Noise insulation of room was not very good but, it was ok for a cheap hotel. The TV was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel and appeared to have just 10 channels all in just German and they seemed to be covering either cookery or farming!

Location was perfect as we were there for Lollapalooza. It was close to metro, and many shops around the hotel

Facilities are old and not that comfortable, but very clean and convenient for a short stay

Staff entered my room twice unklocking the door and withouth knocking although I left sign "do not disturb" outside the door.Whole place is yuck and heavily neglected.

The staff is very friendly.Just 2 min from ZOB.

For about 50 euros way too expensive for that room!The Shower and the toilet were separate,thanks God I had my own keys for the that.The atmosphere was not great,I felt a bit unsafe there.The roof was leaking at the reception and had a big hole.Bad smelling.For one night ok.

The hotel was in a fantastic location right next to Messe Nord ZOB rail station which made it so easy to go anywhere in Berlin from. This is a good value basic accommodation that absolutely suited my needs as a solo traveler exploring Berlin.

The building is really oldReception (if you can call it reception) its cealing was floded and kinda destroyedThe room looks like from 90's so if you want to go back in time, this is right place. Also cleaning was horrible, hair everywhere! In the morning housekeeper entered our room for no reason.
