Classik Hotel Hackescher Markt - Self Check In

The location is was made this hotel a good choice. It is near a "town square" that had extensive outdoor and indoor dining and a really nice feel to it. Everything we needed was there, even a pharmacy and small market to buy bottled water. Location.

The room was warm and we couldn't figure out how to adjust it. We should have called to have them help us, so it was probably our own fault. But worse, the bathroom ventilation was bad. The memories of yesterday's dinner remained in our room for hours.

The bed and pillows were too soft

The location was great , one train or 2 trains max from any place in Berlin,the room was small but very nicely equipped, clean and well maintained.The only thing missing was a small refrigerator

The room was very large with a very comfortable bed and huge TV, the floor was underfloor heating, bathroom lovely and large. The room was very very clean which was very welcome. Without a check in desk and bar there was still a simple check in/out procedure and an honesty bar, there was also water available all the time, which was appreciated by us . The location of the hotel was excellent close to several nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops, also the train stop directly from the airport was a very short walk away which was very convenient with suitcases only 5 euros a ticket.

The rooms were a little bit hot even though we turned the heating down it was still very warm and we had to open a window. Also I wasnt keen on the lack of staff, ie no check in desk but fortunately this did not at all hinder our experience, its just nice to have someone to ask for advice on things. Its also nice to have a proper bar but again not a biggy.

They don’t concern your queries they dont follow up i had an priblem with my booking i booked twice with same day in same date i asked for help no replies nothing i talk to someone he didn’t understand me or what he gave me a mail and no reply so everything is good but if u book be careful dont make mistakr

Automatic check in worked well. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.

spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent location, easy peasy auto checkin/checkout. we arrived a bit earlier, asked via email if we can check in eary, got a super fast positive response - appreciate it!it was my first time in berlin, will most probably book it again if I come next time

minor things like the shower tap was a bit stuck, wasn't easy to open, or the neighboring room was slamming their door multiple times, which was pretty noisy in the morning, but these were really just small things

The room was not too small for two to feel comfortable, you can also take a tea ot coffee inside whoch we enjoyed. The bathroom is clean and tidy. The breakfast was very nice and the restaurant is tidy. Everything is arranged with taste. espesially we liked the easy chek-in and -out. Location is perfect, very close to S-Bahn but still quite to have a sleep.

The room cleanliness was not acceptable, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. Despite staying for three nights, housekeeping service was not provided at all, even after I specifically requested it, which was very disappointing.Additionally, I had booked a larger room with two beds. However, I was assigned a small room with the beds placed very close to each other, which did not match my reservation. No one to talk to and i sent messages and got no reply

The “honesty bar” the wine was awful. Worst then airplane wine. One of the staff were very creepy with us, made us feel uncomfortable

I love the location and have stayed here a few times and will be back next year at some point.It is easy for transport links to anywhere in the city with plenty of places for food and drink almost on the doorstep.Rooms are very clean and provided facilities are excellent.

Breakfast pretty basic. Would prefer an actual meet and greet human reception! Also rooms only attended to after 2 nights.

Great location with smooth check-in and check-out process! Our room was on the 5th floor so it had a sloped ceiling; that meant that the one sleeping on that side had to squeeze his way in and out of bed or walk hunched across it (we’re tall, ~ 1.80m). Bed was comfy though.Breakfast was fresh and tasty with some fresh fruits (apples, nectarines, grapes), a variety of cheeses, deli meat (pork and poultry), oats, dairy, jellies, croissants, boiled eggs.. you can have a really good and filling breakfast before venturing out. And coffee and tea in the room at your disposal.One other thing that we really loved was the fact that we were able to leave our luggage locked in as we had a late flight out.Would we return there? Yes, for one, maybe two nights. We stayed 5 nights, a little bit expensive for what it has to offer.

I booked a premium double which was very comfortable and a good size. The hotel and room were very clean and had the necessary amenities. There were lockers at the entry level if storage was required. The location was very good for walking to the main sights and the Hackescher Market was a 2 minute walk away offering many dining options. Overall the room and location were very good and as a solo traveller, I felt quite safe. Be aware that there is a flight of stairs from ground level to the elevator level which may be a concern if you have mobility issues.

The self service aspect was a failure for me. It would not accept my last name (it’s 2 words with a period) and it took some frustration before I was successful using my booking number to check in. The wifi access also uses your last name and of course it would not work for me either. I messaged the offsite reception and requested an alternative access but they just kept telling me it should work. I used several variations and finally sent them a screen shot of it not accepting my name. No response despite multiple requests. Finally on the last night after yet another request, I was sent an alternate access. For something so simple, it was a very unacceptable responsiveness.

The location was good and the breakfast was a standard one without too many options The self check in process was quick and very easy.

the WIFI was not working on the day we arrived , The AC wasn't working through the entire visit although we were promised it will be fixed We had to open the windows because the AC was not working and the noise from the street was too loud in the morning

Prime location – close to Berlin’s most popular tourist attractions, with public transport and plenty of food options right at the doorstep. The self check-in process is very smooth and easy. Excellent value for money and remarkably quiet at night.The staff are very friendly and competent, making the stay extremely comfortable. Although the hotel doesn’t have a reception desk, you never feel left on your own.Breakfast is simple but very good – featuring fresh fruit, vegetables, and a great selection of bread. The hotel’s own honey from the rooftop terrace was a wonderful touch, complemented by the attentive breakfast staff who provide great service.

The mattresses may not be ideal if you prefer a softer bed. The shower accessibility is also not perfect — even though I’m fit and healthy, I found it a bit challenging to get out, as it requires some coordination in slippery conditions. It might therefore not be the best option for seniors or guests with mobility issues.

Breakfast was good fresh and good service. the rooms are clean as well all all the hotel areas. nice reception area with fresh fruits and water fountain. lockers and handy and available.

the room did not had a window, just a door to a shared balcony, so it was not that comfortable to leave it open for fresh air during the night. the beds are actually two single bed an not one double bed, so it have a slit in the middle.
