The location was 1/2 block from a train line that went quickly to Berlin Haupfbaunhoff. There were lots of restaurants nearby.. The neighborhood seemed safe. The front desk staff was helpful if not terribly friendly. The room was clean and good size with adequate storage. The building is old. The room was rather chilly- I was OK with a shawl over my nightgown but my husband was cold. The shower was hot. Lighting was good in the room. Bed was comfortable. There was a cleaning service at no additional charge.

The breakfast was very monotonous- we ended up eating out at a great cafe around the corner. There is a hall way from the lobby to the lift that has a motion detector that doesn't light the lights for most of the hallway- difficult at night. The place is old and rather drab.

Inexpensive, well located, firm bed. For the size of the room, the shower was surprisingly large.

Very tiny room. Elevator only goes to half floors — you have to walk up or down half a staircase to get to your floor.

Location. Directly opposite S9 Charlottenburg Train Station. Several goceries, eateries within 500 meters. Supermarkets open upto 10pm within 509 meters

My room was very clean and the staff extremely helpful and always in hand to help.

The pillows! Extremely uncomfortable which made sleeping very difficult.

I was staying for the weekend as I was running the Berlin Marathon and the location for me was perfect as we stayed opposite Charlottenburg S Bahn Station with direct links to both the airport and city centre. Decent shops nearby too.

No coffee or tea facilities, the shower is miniscule and the stair lighting isn't great.

The location is excellent. From the train station across the street, you can easily reach any point in Berlin. There are plenty of shops nearby, including fast food restaurants and shops open late into the night.

The cleanliness could be better. There was trash in the trash can when I arrived. The fact that you have to leave your keys at reception isn't great either.

The people working there were sweet and nice and it was quite central w/short distance to both the U and S-bahns and trains.

It wasn´t dirty-dirty, but it wasn´t clean either. There were spots on the pillowcase that didn´t seem to have been washed off, and the towels were very frayed. There were exoskeletons from bugs underneath the sheets in both rooms I got.

Too expensive for what we got. The area is noisy due to its proximity to the train station, so couldn't sleep well. The breakfast was average. There were only 3 power outlets, all used by lights and the TV, so charging devices was difficult. We also found many silverfish insects in the bathroom, and the shower didn't work properly.

An average hotel for short stays and great location. The staff was very friendly.

My room was upgraded to a double super pleased. Nice clean basic room no frills but clean and great mattress. Reception staff varied some very cheerful and chatty one very stern.

Some noise at night but not the hotel fault but selfish guests.

Location in front of train station and many restaurants and shops around is definitely the best.The bed is ok, I really liked the pillow, the shower was great. Except one or two, the people in frontdesk was nice. Overall It was ok.

Overall It was ok.First of all, I had a trouble of double charge with the Mastercard, and despite my countless messages and explanations, they don't refund one of the reservations and I've payed twice. Now, I must wait some months to Mastercard resolve this. There was a reluctance to collaborate, since it was not a mistake or a withdrawal on my part.The stairs to bathroom may be dangerous to someone old.The first days there was a cigarette smell in the room.I don't like leaving the room keys at reception.
